One of the new features that got a content boost with the Disney Dreamlight Valley December update was the Dream Styles which are basically character skins for the villagers that inhabit the Valley. This guide will explain everything about these styles including how to unlock them and how to apply them.

How To Get Disney Dreamlight Valley Styles

At the moment there are only three Dream Styles in the game. Ariel's style was already in the game before, and it can be obtained as the player progresses through the story. Mickey Mouse and Merlin have festive styles that can be unlocked by progressing through the Festive Star Path.

  • Ariel can switch between her mermaid form and her human form. To get Ariel's human form style, gamers have to complete Prince Eric's level 3 friendship quest. In this quest, an enchanted item will be given to her which will allow her to shapeshift whenever the player wishes.
  • Mickey Mouse and Merlin can get limited-time festive outfits. Star Paths are only available for a few weeks, the Festive Star Path has Mickey and Merlin character skins which will eventually become inaccessible. The Festive Merlin Dream Style can be unlocked on Page 5 for 50 tokens as part of the Premium Star Path and the Merry Mickey Dream Style can be unlocked on Page 6 for 50 tokens as part of the Standard Star Path.

How To Equip Dream Styles

There are a lot of different menu tabs and options in Disney Dreamlight Valley, so it can be difficult to spot this particular feature. To equip or change a character's Dream Style the player has to go to the Collection tab on the pause menu and then go down to the Characters' tab. Then, select the character that they wish to style and press "Dream Styles."

After changing a style, the character will appear in front of the Plaza Well and transform into their new outfit. The next time that the player sees them hanging around the Valley, they'll be in wearing this preferred option.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is in early access now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
