Just like that, fishing is an interesting part of the game in which players need to trap fish from the ponds located in different biomes. Eel is a rare fish in the game that is more of a quest item for players as Maui's requires players to catch it in order to complete the "Burying the Eel" quest. How To Catch An Eel In Disney Dreamlight Valley
First things first, players will need to set a fishing trap in order to catch an Eel in Disney Dreamlight Valley.To craft it, they will require the following ingredients:
- 3 x Worms
- 8 x Softwood.
To gather worms, look for little sparkling spots near the ponds in the Peaceful Meadow. Softwood, on the other hand, can be found scattered around the valley, especially in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. Search for the light brown colored softwood spawning on the ground around trees and collect eight of them. Next, players must craft the fishing trap with these ingredients at a crafting station and then take it out for fishing.
After crafting the fishing trap, place it near the Dock in Dazzle Beach and start fishing. Of course, players will need to equip the fishing rod first, which they can find in the Peaceful Meadow. Make sure to aim at the red ripples in the pond, as these ripples are most likely to have an Eel. It would be a good idea to bring along a companion with a fishing role because they can help players get an extra fish with every successful attempt.
What To Do After Catching An Eel In Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Unlike other fish species in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Eel cannot be sold at Goofy’s Stalls to earn Star Coins or gifted to villagers to increase friendship levels. As mentioned earlier, players will need to catch it as a part of a friendship quest for Maui, i.e., Burying the Eel. Therefore, after successfully catching an Eel, players need to get back to Maui, who will ask them to get it buried in the ground in Dazzle Beach. Once done, they will have to water it with a watering can.
