Developed by Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley offers gamers a delightful opportunity to live in a magical valley where they have iconic Disney characters as their neighbors. As players venture around the valley, they can befriend those adorable characters and help them with their day-to-day activities.
Donald Duck is one of the many characters that players will find in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Like every character, he also offers a series of quests, and The Forgotten Project is one of them. Completing this quest involves quite a few steps and can be somewhat tricky for beginners.
How to Complete The Forgotten Project in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Talk to Donald Duck and Merlin
To start The Forgotten Project, players must unlock Donald Duck and reach friendship level six with him. Once done, talk to him to begin the quest.
During the conversation, Donald will tell players that Merlin has enchanted the time capsule they found during A Fishy Dispute quest. Therefore, he will request players to visit Merlin and inquire about it.
Upon talking to Merlin, Dreamers will find out that the capsule will only open for the right fragrance. For this purpose, they’ll have to craft the Odorous Magnificus enchantment using the following materials:
- 3 x Pink Houseleek
- 2 x Yellow Bromeliad
- 2 x White Marsh Milkweed
- 1 x Empty Vial
- 2 x Blue Hydrangea.
Collect the Required Materials and Craft Odorous Magnificus
Pink Houseleek and Yellow Bromeliad can be found in the Sunlit Plateau. To get the next flower, White Marsh Milkweed, players will need to head to Glade of Trust. The Empty Vial is a craftable material that requires 3x glass, and the glass itself can be crafted using 1x coal ore and 5x sand. The final material on the list, Blue Hydrangea, can be found in Dazzle Beach. After gathering all these materials, visit a crafting station and make the required enchantment.
Upon opening the time capsule, players will see three places in the Sunlit Plateau. Therefore, Donald will ask them to travel to those places and get more clues. Once there, explore the area and look for sparkling wooden crates.
Talk to Mickey and Deliver the Wooden Crates to Donald
After finding wooden crates, saviors will need to talk to Donald once again, who will suggest visiting Mickey and using his Dreamlight Magnifier to open them. After borrowing the magnifier from Mickey, players should return to Sunlit Plateau and use it on the wooden crates they found earlier. Once done, deliver those crates to Donald and speak to him one final time. Upon receiving the crates, he will tell players that he was trying to build a fountain for the village. As the conversation ends, so will the quest.
