Developed by Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation and adventure game that takes place in a magical valley featuring some of the most beloved Disney characters. As players venture around the valley, they can befriend those characters, assign them various roles, and complete tasks together.
The recent Pride of the Valley update introduced many new characters to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Nala, the lioness from the Lion King movie, is one of them. Like every other character, players can complete her friendship quests to gain friendship XP. The Fishy Business is an exciting friendship quest for Nala that players can complete to raise their friendship level with her. This detailed guide will help players complete the Fishy Business friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Prerequisites for Fishy Business
Before starting Fishy Business, it is important to unlock Nala and reach friendship level four with her. Apart from that, players must also complete the Staking Your Territory quest. Fulfilling these prerequisites will unlock the Fishy Business quest.
Fishy Business Walkthrough
Talk to Nala
To start the Fishy Business quest, players will have to talk to Nala. Upon talking to her, they will find out that she has noticed something unusual while patrolling the valley. She found a half-buried statue on Dazzle Beach and will ask players to look into it.
Collect the Statue
Players will have to head to Dazzle Beach, where they will find the statue half buried in the sand near Skull Rock. Once found, use the Royal Shovel to dig it up and take it to Nala. As soon as players collect it, they'll notice a strange rift near Skull Rock. Capture its photo using the Camera from the Tool Menu.
Visit Nala
Once done, players will need to return to Nala. During the conversation, she’ll mention that she noticed a weird smell in Frosted Heights and Glade of Trust. Therefore, players should visit these biomes to see if there are more statues.
Collect More Statues
The second statue is located near the wooden bridge in Glade of Trust, and another one will be found near the pond in Frosted Heights. Take them to Nala, and she’ll say that Goofy also observed a similar rift on one of his fishing trips.
Visit Goofy
Next, players will have to make their way to Goofy. Talking to him will reveal that he saw a weird fish swimming near the rift in the ocean. So, players will have to travel to Dazzle Beach and catch the mysterious fish.
Catch the Fish and Talk to Ursula
Equip the fishing rod and cast the line near the rift in Dazzle Beach to catch the fish. Once done, players should take it to Nala, who will advise them to visit Ursula.
Then, go to Ursula and turn in the fish and statues. After taking a closer look, Ursula will tell that the fish is from Here and There rifts. However, she will need more time to investigate the matter.
Return to Nala
Lastly, go back to Nala and tell her what Ursula said to complete the Fishy Business quest. Since it’s a friendship quest, completing it will help players level up the friendship level with Nala.
