Duneboppers are fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley's A Rift in Time expansion, and players that want to complete Goofy's The Ones That Got Away Friendship Quest will need to catch two of them. While that is not a particularly difficult thing to do, some fans may be confused about where they can find the Duneboppers that they need. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and players can find details on how to catch Disney Dreamlight Valley's Duneboppers in what follows.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Dunebopper Location

Players that are searching for Duneboppers should turn their attention to the Oasis, an area within the Glittering Dunes biome. For the uninitiated, fans will gain access to that desert biome as they work through Jafar's Story Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley's A Rift in Time expansion, and they must use 6,000 Mist to remove the swirling rocks that block the path toward the Oasis. The precise position of that blockade is depicted in the map and image that are below, and Merlin will help clear it when the requisite amount of Mist has been obtained.

Upon entering the Oasis, players should look for a blue ripple pool in the area's body of water, as that is the exclusive source for Duneboppers. Disney Dreamlight Valley fans that are focusing on completing The Ones That Got Away quest can thus ignore any white or orange pools that they encounter in the Oasis, though there is certainly no harm in catching the fish that come from those spots.

After catching two Duneboppers, players may want to work on locating the other fish that are required for completion of Goofy's quest. One of those fish is Disney Dreamlight Valley's Robot Fish, and it can be found in orange ripple pools throughout the Ancient's Landing biome. Notably, players may already be familiar with this aquatic creature, as it plays a very important role in A Rift in Time's Flying Metal Nuisance quest.

The other "fish" that has Goofy's interest is Disney Dreamlight Valley's Prisma Shrimp, which can be caught in the Grove, an area within the Wild Tangle. As is the case with the area that is home to Duneboppers, players will need to spend Mist in order to access the Grove. More specifically, 4,000 Mist is required, which means that fans should expect to spend at least 10,000 Mist before they reach the end of the Ones That Got Away Friendship Quest.
