Disney Dreamlight Valley hosts a diverse range of Disney characters, including both heroes and villains, with whom the player shares the Valley. Daily interactions in the Valley include friendly conversations, exchanging gifts and meals, and engaging in activities including fishing.

As the player builds stronger relationships with these characters, new rewards, and quests become available. These quests narrate stories unique to each character and their experiences since arriving in Dreamlight Valley. Early in their adventure, players can unlock Toy Story characters Buzz Lightyear and Woody.

Buzz Lightyear's mission revolves around establishing a defensive base in the Valley, while Woody's quest line deals with actual invaders, specifically the lovable three-eyed aliens from their familiar claw machine. In Woody’s quest, "Wanted: Aliens," players engage in a rescue mission within Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here’s what they’ll need to do.

How to Start the Quest “Wanted: Aliens”

The Disney Dreamlight Valley quest “Wanted: Aliens” becomes available once players reach Friendship Level 7 with Woody, the lovable toy cowboy of Toy Story fame. However, before players can begin this quest, a few additional criteria must be met. Players must have unlocked Buzz Lightyear through the completion of his quest “A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space.”

The player must also have completed the main story quest, “The Curse,” following it up by unlocking Scar. Once these criteria are met, the player can accept and begin the quest “Wanted: Aliens.”

How to Complete the Quest “Wanted: Aliens”

In Woody’s previous Friendship quest, “A Bit of a Fixer Upper,” unlocked at Friendship Level 4, the player assisted Woody in repairing his Carousel home. However, during the renovations, disaster struck. A Claw Machine containing an arsenal of Alien Toys was shattered, setting the little green men loose throughout the Valley. In “Failing Better,” the player assists Woody in recovering a few of the Aliens. However, not all were returned home, and in the quest “Wanted: Aliens,the player continues Woody’s rescue mission.

Repair the Claw Machine

First, Woody instructs the player to fix the broken Claw Machine, ensuring the Aliens have a home to go back to. Repairing the Claw Machine requires the player to retrieve the following materials:

Once the player has collected the materials, they can head to any crafting station to build a new Claw Machine to set up inside Woody’s Carousel. Head back to Woody and hand over the Claw Machine, which he works to set up after instructing the player to speak with Buzz Lightyear about recovering the lost Alien Toys.

Help Buzz Lightyear get an alien situation under control in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Speak with Buzz & Locate the Missing Aliens

The player should then head to Buzz Lightyear who reports that he has identified the whereabouts of the missing Aliens during his patrols. He guides the player to recover Alien Toys which are trapped in the grounds in the following locations:

  • Under Dazzle Beach’s sand
  • Frozen in ice near a waterfall
  • In the ground near the Giant Willow
  • In Scar's cave

Once the player has recovered all four Aliens, return to Woody, and he will safely return them to their home within the newly reassembled Claw Machine, completing the quest “Wanted: Aliens.” Woody’s final Friendship quest will unlock once the player has reached Friendship Level 10.
