After spending some time exploring and meeting new people in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Mike Wazowski had some concerns. Obviously, since he and Sulley are monsters, their sense of taste and smell is completely different from a normal human, hence why you will go on an adventure with Mike to discover new scents and recipes.

The Monstrously Good Taste Quest allows Dreamers to obtain some questionable ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley and use them to experiment with Mike. It turns out that the Jokester is trying to fit in by introducing some of his culture into the valley.

How To Trigger The Monstrously Good Taste Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once Mike is Friendship level four, the Monstrously Good Taste Quest will be triggered. The Quest starts with Mr. Wazowski talking with Dreamers about the state of the village. Apparently, the valley is very nice, but it’s missing a bit of a "je ne sais quoi" element.

Firstly, Mike went to both Scrooge McDuck’s store and Remy’s Restaurant in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and he wasn’t impressed. So, you decide to help him invent a new cologne to sell in McDuck’s store.

How To Make The Monstrous Cologne In Disney Dreamlight Valley

The main ingredient is Rotten Fish, so head to Remy to get the star of the show. Thankfully, the little chef has one to spare and gives it to you immediately. Speak with Mike again to move to the next step, which is burying the Rotten Fish in the sand of Dazzle Beach. Wait 15 minutes in real time for the fish to stench and age, then present it to the excited Mike.

Now that the fish is ready in Disney Dreamlight Valley, collect the rest of the ingredients to start giving out samples. The required materials are:

• Empty Vial x5: Bought from Kristoff’s Stall or made at the Crafting Station using Glass, which is made from Sand.
• Rich Soil x7: Randomly spawns when harvesting crops.
• Rotten Carp x1: The same fish Mike and the players buried at Dazzle Beach.

Once you’re done, craft the Monstrous Cologne at the Crafting Station and show it to Scrooge McDuck. He obviously won’t like it, so try showing it to other villagers in Disney Dreamlight Valley, like Scar and Vanellope. The former will be disgusted while the latter is intrigued by the smell. After that, Mike gives up on the cologne and moves to another issue, food.

How To Make Gourmet Rot Dog In Disney Dreamlight Valley

After the huge cologne disappointment, Mike suggests cooking a unique dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Although most of the ingredients are normal, one of them is a hairball, and not just any hairball, a royal one that belongs to Scar. So, head to Scar’s cave and collect the rest of the ingredients to start cooking:

• Wheat: Bought as seeds or material from Goofy’s Store in Peaceful Meadow.
• Milk: Bought from Chez Remy Pantry.
• Clam: Obtained from the sands of Dazzle Beach.

Once all the ingredients are combined into a pot, you will receive the Gourmet Rot Dog dish. Next, ask Remy to taste it, but sadly, the chef doesn’t like it, which upsets Mike. Dreamers here explain to him that everyone has a different taste and suggest that he shares the dish with Sulley. Once both monsters bond over food, the Monstrously Good Taste Quest is complete.
