Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Complete the Does Not Compute Quest
Does Not Compute is a lengthy quest in DDV where EVE tasks you with making a processor and an adapter. Here's how you can complete it!
Talk to Merlin
First, to go to Merlin and talk to him. Merlin will confirm that it was indeed Jafar who stole the Spark of Imagination. Furthermore, he’ll tell you that the Royal Vizier of Agrabah has already started experimenting with the tool and ask you to go to Rapunzel, EVE, and Gaston to check on them and take pictures of every item that is being affected by Jafar's trick.
Check in with Rapunzel, EVE, and Gaston
Talk to Rapunzel, EVE, and Gaston. So, find these characters on the map and talk to them one by one. They will be concerned about the rifts' effects, and complain that everything is turning black and white.
Take Photos of Affected Items
Go to Ancient's landing and look for books in EVE's secret chamber. Once you have found the books, take a picture with them. After that, head towards the Glittering Dunes, where you will find crates next to Gaston's Ship. Click a picture of these crates, as they are also affected by rifts. Lastly, make your way to Wild Tangle, where you will find a mysterious boat high up in The Grove region. Once you find the boat, take a picture of it as well.
Return to Merlin
After meeting with the characters and taking pictures of the affected items, go back to Merlin. He will explain that parts of Dreamlight Valley’s past have leaked through to its present due to Jafar’s experiments, which is why everything is losing its colors.
Merlin then suggests you go and meet Oswald, the lucky rabbit, and get to know him better, as he might be the oldest resident of the valley. Since the mystery is linked to the valley's past, Oswald can help you solve it. This will complete the quest.
