Previously, players could only cook certain types of meat according to the available ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley. As of A Rift in Time DLC, the recipes list now has more variety thanks to the meat section in Gaston’s stall.

Although it's fairly easy to unlock Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dreamers have to work a bit harder to open the meat shop in Glittering Dunes. That’s because there are a couple of Quests that must be completed and a lot of Mist that needs to be collected.

How To Get Poultry In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlocking Poultry is not a complicated procedure, as Dreamers only need to complete a few Quests and collect about 6,000 Mists. Most importantly, Gaston must be Friendship level two to open the meat store.

First, players must travel from Dreamlight Valley to Eternity Isle by finishing the Port of Many Worlds Quest, which belongs to Merlin. Next, speak with Jafar via the Hologram Station at The Docks to trigger The Secrets of Eternity Isle Quest. Completing it will unlock the Ancient’s Landing gate by combining the two halves of the Ancient Sphere.

Now that The Courtyard is available, talk with Jafar again to conclude The Flying Metal Nuisance and The Sands in the Hourglass Quests. Upon unlocking the Royal Hourglass in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the protagonist can use it to collect 2,000 Mists and fix the bridge that leads to The Grasslands, and most importantly, The Plains where Gaston can be found.

Finally, complete all of Jafar's Story Quests until the Diamond in the Rough is triggered in The Wastes (requires 4,000 Mists), which unlocks Gaston as a friend in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Finish his first Friendship Quest to help him open the meat stall, thus making Poultry available for purchase alongside Venison and Pork in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

As an ingredient, Poultry opens new possibilities for players to cook delicious meals. Cooking can be considered somewhat important as it helps regenerate Energy, can be gifted to certain Disney Dreamlight Valley characters for Friendship EXP, or requested by villagers to complete a couple of Quests.
