By purchasing exclusive Dream Styles, players can apply unique skins to each of their tools.
What Are Dream Styles in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players have the opportunity to transform the appearance of their home and the Valley's residents through the use of Dream Styles. Players now also have the option to apply special Dream Styles to their trusty Royal Tools, giving them a fresh and unique appearance that enriches the experience of completing day-to-day tasks in the Valley. Each Dream Style provides a new visual look for each specific tool, including the Watering Can, Shovel, Pickaxe, Fishing Rod, and Camera.
There are currently no Dream Styles for the Royal Hourglass , the new tool added in Disney Dreamlight Valley's A Rift in Time paid DLC expansion.
To obtain these Dream Styles, players must purchase the complete bundle from the in-game Premium Item Shopusing Moonstones, the game's paid currency. It's important to note that the Royal Tool Dream Styles can be acquired only as a bundle and cannot be purchased individually. The game's developers have not yet stated whether they will make individual tool Dream Styles available for purchase separately in subsequent shop updates or if they will always be bundled.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Moonstones
Moonstones are used as in-game currency in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and here is how players can get more of them.
The Royal Tool Dream Styles in the Premium Item Shop have limited availability. The shop updates its inventory every seven days, replacing the current items with new ones. If players fail to purchase a Dream Style during its availability period, they will need to wait for the next opportunity to buy it with a future shop update. However, there is no way to predict or ensure when a Dream Style, or any other item, will return to the Premium Item Shop.
How to Customize the Player's Royal Tools
To apply a Dream Style to one or more Royal Tools, follow these steps:
- Open the Wardrobe menu using the assigned hotkey (V if using a keyboard/mouse, or accessed via the Inventory menu on consoles).
- Select the Tools category, located in the fourth slot on the top row of categories.
- Select any of the available Dream Styles shown underneath each tool's name to change that tool's appearance.
All Dream Styles are cosmetic only and do not change any attributes or functionality of the tool when applied. Players can still use potions that affect tools, such as Miracle Shovel Varnish, with no change to their benefits.
