How to Cook French Fries in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Players looking to create French Fries are going to need just a pair of ingredients: Potatoes and Canola. Just a single instance of these ingredients from Disney Dreamlight Valley are needed to create this meal at any cooking station in the game.
The resulting appetizer sells for a minimum of 304 Star Coins and can replenish a minimum of 342 energy. It is a two-star meal in this game, and its value and energy level can be increased with the use of additional items.
Where to Find the Ingredients for French Fries
Of the pair of ingredients required here, the Potato is the more challenging to track down. This is because Potatoes and their seeds can most reliably be found in the Forgotten Lands biome. This is the area to the northwest of the Plaza and requires players to unlock the Sunlit Plateau (7,000 of Disney Dreamlight Valley's Dreamlight currency) first before spending a further 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock this biome.
Once in this area, players need to unlock Goofy's Stall here for 5,000 Star Coins and upgrade it for a further 12,500 Star Coins to be able to purchase Potatoes and Potato Seeds.
Canola is a dairy and oil type ingredient that can be grown from the Canola seed. This ingredient can be found at Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor, the biome directly to the east of the Plaza. The biome costs 3,000 Dreamlight to unlock, while the stall costs 1,500 Star Coins to unlock and a further 3,500 Star Coins to upgrade.
These purchases allow players to buy Canola and Canola seeds for 164 and 25 Star Coins, respectively.
The alternative for acquiring either one of these ingredients is to pursue Wall-E in his realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Completing his quest there, moving him to Dreamlight Valley, and increasing his friendship level to 2 brings up to option to complete the Village Project: The Garden. Completing this quest creates Wall-E's garden, which can spawn one or both of these ingredients each day.
