Disney Dreamlight Valley features a variety of quests which revolve around the beloved three-eyed aliens from Toy Story films. Players first alien encounter with these lovable little guys while on Woody’s Friendship quest “A Bit of a Fixer Upper” to fix up his carousel home.
However, the alien outbreak doesn’t stop there. This guide outlines the process of starting the first quest in Buzz Lightyear’s “Collect ‘Em All” quest series, “Little Green Men!” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Starting the Quest "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men!"
With the "Pride of the Valley" update, Buzz Lightyear has decided to take charge of investigating the peculiar alien outbreaks. Buzz offers a series of quests focused on locating additional Alien Toys that have gone missing from Woody's Carousel. Unlike most other character quests, this quest series with Buzz Lightyear is not tied to any specific Friendship Level. It can be obtained by speaking with Buzz Lightyear after the player has completed Woody's quest, "Wanted: Aliens."
Completing the Quest "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men!"
Upon speaking with Buzz Lightyear and accepting the quest "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men!," players are assigned the task of finding 25 Alien Toys scattered throughout the Valley. These Alien Toys can be discovered on the ground in any of the game's eight expansive biomes. To collect an Alien Toy, simply approach and interact with the object. This will gather the toy and add it to the player's inventory.
It's important to note that not all the Alien Toys will be available to collect at once. When accepting the quest, players can only find and gather a few Alien Toys initially, typically only one in each of the game's biomes with two extra. Every 36 hours, additional Alien Toys will spawn randomly around the valley. Therefore, it may take over a week before players can locate and collect all 25 Alien Toys required to complete Buzz's quest.
Alien Toys are relatively easy to spot, as they rest on the ground and emit a sparkling effect, making them stand out from their surroundings. However, locating the toys can be more challenging depending on the layout of the valley.
For players struggling to find Alien Toys, there's a helpful technique. Consider opening the game's Furniture mode while outdoors and use the camera’s zoom, rotate, and scan features to survey the different biomes. Alien Toys will be visible in furniture mode, enabling players to examine specific areas more closely and discover any hidden Alien Toys by moving objects like trees.
Once players have successfully located all 25 Alien Toys, they can return to Buzz Lightyear, who will express gratitude for their efforts in subduing the Alien invasion. As a reward, Buzz will provide them with a Space Ranger Supply Kit. Opening the Space Ranger Supply Kit will reward players with the following materials:
- 5 Iron Ingot
- 5 Clay
- 20 Hardwood
These materials can prove valuable when undertaking the final quest in the series. Upon turning in, "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men!," players will be able to accept a new quest from Buzz, “Collect 'Em All: Strangers from the Outside!” which involves even more Alien Toy recovery.
