With its iconic characters and enchanting landscape, Disney Dreamlight Valley has staked its claim on the hearts of many Disney fans around the world. The game features over 25 characters as of now, and the number will likely increase as the game receives more updates.
Anna and Elsa, the beloved characters from Frozen, have also moved to the valley. Once Anna settles down in the village, she wants her sister Elsa there too. In "An Icy Invitation", players need to complete certain objectives to send an invitation to Elsa to join the valley and reunite with her sister. This guide will cover how to complete every step of "An Icy Invitation" in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Start An Icy Invitation
Talk to Anna about finding a perfect home for Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley and follow her as she leads players to the Forest of Valor. Upon arriving, players will find out that three tree stumps are blocking the bridge and need to be removed.
The Royal Shovel can help get rid of the stumps, but it needs to be upgraded. Anna reveals that she has a book from Merlin that might have information on upgrading the shovel and removing the tree stumps. Therefore, go to the Forest of Valor, find Anna's house, and collect that book from there. Once found, return to Anna and deliver the book. After consulting the book, Anna finds out that upgrading the shovel will require 10 Softwood, four Hardwood, four Iron Ingots, and three Tinkering Parts.
Collect the Required Materials
Softwood is a relatively easier material to collect, as players can find it in every biome but Dazzle Beach. Hardwood, on the other hand, can be found in Forgotten Lands, Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Glade of Trust.
Use 20 Iron Ore and four Coal Ore to craft four Iron Ingots. Iron ores can be collected from pretty much every biome, especially from the Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor. In addition to making four Iron Ingots for the shovel blade, players need to make six more of these for the three tinkering parts as well. With all the required materials in hand, visit a crafting station to make the shovel blade.
Invite Elsa to the Valley and Talk to Anna
Take the upgraded shovel to the bridge in Forest of Valor and remove the tree stumps. After clearing the pathway, players will have to talk to Anna once again, who will take them to Ice Cavern and ask them to take a picture of the cave, which she plans to send to Elsa, along with the letter she wrote for her.
Once done, take both the picture and the letter from Anna and deliver them to Elsa in the Frozen realm. Upon receiving the letter, Elsa will tell players that she will soon join the village after attending to a few matters. Lastly, go back to Anna and share the good news, concluding the quest.
