Disney’s The Lion King and Aladdin are arguably two of the company’s most celebrated and beloved animated films, with both receiving live-action remakes in 2019. So in October of that same year, it was only fitting that the classic video games based on those Disney movies also be re-released in the form of Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King.

GameStop is currently offering an online-only Deal of the Day for Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. The sale is good for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game, which is normally priced at $29.99 but can now be purchased for only $16, nearly half off.

This special edition of the two classic Disney titles features multiple versions of the Aladdin and Lion King games that were released over the years, on both home consoles and handheld platforms. There is also a special “final cut” version of Aladdin for players to enjoy, which was developed exclusively for this classic collection.

Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King offers new features such as camera refinements, bug fixes, adjustable screen aspect ratios, and the ability to change the games’ difficulty. Additionally, the graphics of both games have been updated to 1080p for a more pleasant display on modern HD televisions. For players who are feeling a bit nostalgic and prefer to play the games without the graphic enhancements, there are custom filter options that can replicate the look of classic CRT TVs and other screens.
