The "whale-punk" setting of the Dishonored series has long fascinated fans for its uniqueness. The games feature a fantastical blend of unknown magics, the occult, and Victorian imperialism, all of which make them delightful to explore. Now, fans can sink their teeth into the world of Dishonored even further with the drop of Modiphius Entertainment's Dishonored: The Role-Playing Game.

This news may come as a relief to fans, as Arkane had announced it was done creating Dishonored games for a while. Modiphius boasts that the new tabletop RPG sweeps players “into the turbulent Empire of the Isles, to tell stories of occult lore, intrigue and drama,” as they take on the roles of the Protagonists, ranging from “grim assassins and rugged criminals, to intrepid explorers and stoic crown loyalists.”

The game uses a 2d20 system, which is quickly becoming popular in the tabletop community. It also includes a core rulebook, which gives players everything they need to start playing. There are guides on how to play the Protagonists, rules on harnessing the powers of the Void, and plenty of antagonists to stir up conflict. In addition, players will get in-depth look at the history of the Empire and the backstories of its people, plus a four act mini-campaign—"The Oil Trail." It seems longtime Dishonored fans will not be disappointed.
