The scape of movies and television shows is currently in a state of transition, with old favorites of the airwaves wrapping up their runs and new stars being born online and on TV, as well as in the theaters. But while fans wait eagerly for phase 4 of the MCU to finally drop, they should know that there may soon be a new cinematic universe to look forward to, Discworld.

For those unfamiliar, Discworld is an expansive series of novels and shorter works by the late Sir Terry Pratchett, all of which take place in the magical Discworld. This is not the first time that the Discworld series has been adapted, not even close. Different Discworld stories have been adapted into every kind of media imaginable, including board games, TV mini-series, and even a couple of live-action films. There is currently a live-action series based on the Watch storyline scheduled for BBC sometime in the near future, originally commissioned in 2018.

So if anyone wants some bizarre comedy, on top of checking out Jay and Silent Bob on Switch, they should keep an eye on Discworld for the screen.
