Bandai Namco has recently shared that a new patch for the role-playing game Digimon World: Next Order brings in an option that was previously not available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. This also means that fans can enjoy the game just like they did with the PlayStation 4 version, along with the brand-new gameplay features added into the Digimon World: Next Order Switch and PC releases.

When it was launched in February 2023, the developers did not state why the Japanese voice acting was missing for Digimon World: Next Order on the Nintendo Switch. The PC version had the feature available at release, sparking confusion among fans who decided to discuss the topic in online forums and threads. Fortunately, the developer took the community's concern to heart and has now made the option available for players who prefer to hear Japanese voices when playing through the game's story and adventuring around its open world.

Hopefully the update has successfully sated the fan base's main concern about Digimon World: Next Order. Given that there are new Digimon games currently in development, the way that the company has responded to the community's opinion bodes well for its future titles. Fans can only hope that the development team will retain the same kind of attentiveness to its player base in the future.
