Amazon Prime Video has released the first full trailer for the upcoming animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical. The spinoff to the anti-superhero series The Boys is looking equally gory. The two-and-a-half minute trailer introduces viewers to some of the series’ main characters, who seem to be living through some twisted realities.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 4 and will feature eight episodes, with a runtime of 12-14 minutes each, with all episodes consisting of a unique animation style. Each episode narrates the story of a different anti-hero, based in The Boys universe. Some of the episodes will be directly related to the hit Prime series, such as one that looks at the origins of Antony Starr's Homelander. However, others will showcase the lives of characters who are inspired by the quirky heroes.

As far as The Boys is concerned, fans will know that there are no limits. The Boys is loaded with extreme gore and violence, inappropriate jokes, and sexist remarks. If anything was to be set in the same universe, it would have to be equally free-spirited. Judging by the trailer of The Boys Presents: Diabolical, the animated series will not be that far off.

One of the characters that stands out in the trailer is the Laser Baby, as she is seen causing mayhem rather unintentionally. The episode, “Laser Baby's Day Out,” was written by The Boys executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and features a colorful animation that is reminiscent of the classic cartoon series Looney Tunes. The titles of the remaining seven episodes have also been revealed as “An Animated Short Where Pissed-Off Supes Kill Their Parents,” “I'm Your Pusher,” “Boyd in 3D,” “BFFs,” “Nubian vs Nubian,” “John and Sun-Hee,” and “One Plus One Equals Two.”

The list of writers for the different episodes consists of some big names from the industry, including Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Awkwafina, and Brooklyn 99's Andy Samberg, among many others. The voice actors in the series formulate a glorious roster, as well. The list includes Michael Cera, Don Cheadle, Chase Crawford, Kieran Culkin, Simon Pegg, Kumail Nanjiani, Christian Slater, Kevin Smith, and many more.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 4, 2022.
