Another popular class that has been a long-time favorite from the Diablo franchise, the Necromancer is a master of death and combines the best of both worlds — high damage output and summons. The Necromancer is easy to learn and allows players to deal high single target and area of effect damage whilst creating summons that can tank for the player.

With an additional array of self-buffs and area-denial abilities, it’s no surprise that the Necromancer is an extremely popular choice in Diablo Immortal. However, due to its longer cooldowns and limited mobility, players may struggle in PVP combat or find themselves relegated to support roles compared to other classes. Nevertheless, the Necromancer can be an extremely fun class to play and when using the right skills, can be a worthy adversary in both Diablo Immortal's PVE and PVP modes.

7 Soulfire

Diablo Immortal Attacking Three Units At Once With The Necromancer

One of the Necromancer’s primary attacks, Soulfire allows players to lob a ball of damage at the enemy. Upon contact, this ball will explode, dealing damage to the main target and 25% of the original damage to nearby enemies.

Soulfires' ultimate ability is Hungering Soulfire. This ability strengthens Soulfire for 12 seconds and has players launch bone spirits that act as homing missiles seeking enemies. Targets that get hit several times will receive 75% cumulatively reduced damage. Players using the Necromancers should stick with this base ability as die-hard fans of the game consider Hungering Soulfire to be amongst the best ultimates in the game, especially when paired with the right weapons.

6 Command Skeletons

Available at level 1, Command Skeletons is pretty self-explanatory, this ability allows players to summon a bunch of skeletons to do the Necromancer’s bidding and is the first summoning ability for this class. When activated, players will get to have their skeletons charge towards a location and receive an increase in attack speed by 80% for about 4.5 seconds.

As a passive skill, players will automatically raise a skeleton every 8 seconds to a maximum number of 4. It is a great ability early game that allows minions to tank damage for the player as well as deals good damage to the enemy.

5 Corpse Explosion

Available at level 3, Corpse Explosion allows players to detonate all corpses within a specific area that deals damage to all nearby enemies. Enemies hit by these explosions will also receive an additional 40% cumulatively reduced damage per hit.

Overall, this skill is great as it utilizes a specific Necromancer resource known as Corpse. As enemies are felled, they become corpses (essentially targets) for the player to then detonate. The more corpses, the more fuel to the fire. It’s a useful skill that does effective AOE damage against enemies.

4 Bone Wall

Available at level 28, the Bone Wall allows players to summon a bone wall that can block enemies coming towards the Necromancer or are attempting to flee the combat zone. Each wall can last approximately 9.2 seconds and can block enemy projectiles and the movement of both enemies and allies (placing it down is important). It has 3 charges.

The Bone Wall can be greatly enhanced with legendary armor pieces and gems. For example, the Evergrasping Westman’s Chest Armor transforms the Bone Wall into a line of skeletal soldiers that will charge into enemy lines, temporarily increasing the number of minions and doing a bunch of extra damage.

3 Bone Armor

Unlocked at level 41, Bone Armor allows players to protect themselves and their allies with a shield made from bones that will absorb damage for over 12 seconds.

Bone Armor is an ability that is ideal for players that wish to play more of a supporting role. Though it doesn’t do any damage alone, Timed at the right moment, Bone Armor can sometimes effectively turn the tide of battle by allowing players to survive large amounts of damage. Therefore, it’s ideally used in PVP or within a party against elite or tough enemy mobs.

2 Dark Curse

Unlocked at level 44, Dark Curse will curse all enemies within a specific area. This ability deals damage over time but more importantly, significantly reduces the enemy’s vision for 6 seconds.

Similar to Bone Armor, this ability is very effective for players that want to play more of a support role rather than dishing out the damage. This ability’s utility can come in extremely handy during PVP fights that can disrupt and hamper enemy efforts. It is recommended that players swap out Corpse Explosion and replace it with Dark Curse should they want to play a supporting role.

1 Command Golem

Available at level 50, the Command Golem skill allows players to summon a bone golem for 24 seconds. As it is summoned, the golem will do additional damage and stun all nearby enemies for 2 seconds.

While the ability is active, players can command their golems to leap onto a nearby location, dealing pretty high damage and forcing enemies to attack it for 6 seconds. Legendaries can be paired with the golem to further enhance this ability such as adding additional burn damage to every enemy the golem fights.

Diablo Immortal is available on Mobile and PC.
