The family set bonus in Diablo Immortal may seem insignificant. A 2% bonus that usually lasts for a blink of an eye? How much difference can that possibly make? But when competing with millionaires, players need every opportunity they can to close the gap.

Talent will go a long way. And having some luck doesn't hurt. There is, of course, a way to outright purchase these bonuses, but they don't grow or scale, so it's a meaningful way for free-to-play players to get a bonus in Diablo Immortal that puts them on equal footing as their competition.

Before any purchases are made, it's best to review which set bonus makes the most sense. Some have better PvP applications, others are made for solo rifting, and still others are best when tanking. It's expensive to make these line up, so make an informed choice and stick with it.

The selection can be changed, so somebody with the best Barbarian weapons won't need to start from scratch, but the stones get pricy.

How To Get The Set Bonus

Diablo Immortal Using Reforge Stones At The Blacksmith
  • Free To Play: Buy Reforge Stones and get lucky.
  • Paid: Buy family stones from the Smithing Materials vendor.
  • Blacksmith > Services > Reforge > Select Item > Reforge

All legendary pieces must have a bonus from the same family to get the attribute bonus. For example, a Wizard with incredible armor and weapons will need all six pieces to have a bonus from the Vengeance family to get that bonus.

Free-to-play gamers can buy Reforge Stones from the Hilts vendor and pray for luck. Keep rolling until they get one of these bonuses. Those with Eternal Orbs, the premium currency, can buy a stone from the Smithing Materials that guarantee the bonus will be from a specific family.
