Diablo 4 players put their heads together to find a way to track World Bosses without using external resources, saying Blizzard should add a permanent timer that shows when they will spawn. Diablo 4's World Bosses usually spawn once every six hours and offer loads of unique rewards. Players need to be in the right place at the right time, as World Bosses appear in a variety of locations.

The newest incarnation of Blizzard's genre-defining ARPG series, Diablo 4 has players experiencing a brand-new storyline with their unique characters. They can choose from five classes that retain their core identities: Barbarian, Rogue, Necromancer, Sorcerer, and Druid. Diablo 4's five distinctive regions are inhabited by formidable enemies, including vampires, ghouls, and World Bosses. The game recently launched to widespread praise among fans and critics alike, with some claiming that it fixes some of Diablo 3's downsides.

Many Diablo 4 players agreed that Blizzard should add a permanent timer that shows when a World Boss will appear. Reddit user QU4NTUM_FLUX first came up with this idea, saying that World Bosses in Diablo 4 don't spawn frequently enough. Though they play at least four hours a day, the player has never seen a World Boss event in the last five days. Over 1,300 players have upvoted the Reddit post, with some claiming that there needs to be an audio cue or message that states a World Boss will spawn soon.

In the comments, some Diablo 4 players said not being able to see the spawn times without using external resources is frustrating. One pointed out that the spawn times should be localized because World Bosses appear after midnight in their country. Another also stated that the loot World Bosses drop isn't worth the amount of time they take to spawn.

Sometimes it seems as though the spawn times are random. According to some Diablo 4 players, World Bosses can spawn either before or after the six-hours intervals. Besides, they won't see the World Boss locations marked on their in-game maps if they haven't beaten Diablo 4's campaign, which makes it harder to track them down.

Now that Diablo 4 has been out for a week, players have said that Blizzard should bring some quality-of-life changes to provide a healthier gaming experience. They even compiled a list of features missing from Diablo 4, including gem bags, a loot filter, and a stash search function. Some players also voiced their frustration over the ability to change tattoos but not hairstyles, with one saying that Diablo 4 has limited customization options. It remains to be seen whether Blizzard will add the most demanded features before their absence spark further debate.

Diablo 4 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
