Diablo 4 might be getting World Boss timers, so players can keep track of their arrival to get better loot. This comes via Diablo lead Rod Fergusson, who hinted towards a possible announcement regarding timers for Diablo 4's World Bosses in response to a fan.

World Bosses in Diablo 4 currently spawn every 6 hours, usually at specific times during the day. However, players are only informed of their location a few minutes before their arrival. The game also doesn’t notify players of their arrival while they are offline, however, there are a few websites and Discord bots that help in tracking World Boss spawns. Several players have also complained about the weird timings for the World Boss spawns in Diablo 4, and how many of them usually end up missing those times due to various reasons. Bearing these issues in mind, Blizzard has hinted towards a possible solution which will be announced at the upcoming livestreams.

A player took to Twitter to ask Rod Fergusson whether the game was getting a World Boss timer with the upcoming Diablo 4 Season 2 update. While Fergusson didn’t directly confirm the arrival of such a timer, or any other manner in which it could be implemented, he responded by saying, “Oh, you're going to like the streams...” This was proof enough for the fans to rejoice and assume that Blizzard will be implementing a system that will help them track the World Boss arrival times more efficiently.

Along with this, there has been a lot of anticipation regarding the upcoming Diablo 4 Season 2 which is officially titled “Season of Blood” and is scheduled to launch on October 17. This season will introduce a vampiric dark lord who is raising an army of vampires in an attempt to take over Sanctuary. To counter these enemies, players will be able to wield some vampiric abilities themselves, and will also be accompanied by a companion named Erys. In addition to this, Blizzard is also introducing a way for players to target farm Uniques and Uber Uniques in the game, which the fans have appreciated.

To showcase all the new features and content arriving with Season 2, Blizzard will be hosting two Diablo 4 livestreams scheduled for October 4 and October 10. The first stream will focus on quality-of-life updates and inventory management changes, while the second one will be a deep dive into the class balance changes and other updates as well.

Diablo 4 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
