This livestream will primarily cover the upcoming PTR for Season 5 of Diablo 4, which will be available to all PC Battle.Net users. The PTR will give players a chance to test the upcoming features and changes that will be coming to Diablo 4's next season and provide feedback to the developers before the full release in August. If the PTR works the same as in Season 4, players will just need to download a different version of Diablo 4 found in the game versions tab in the Battle.net launcher.

Following that, there will be the usual Q&A section, during which players can ask the team any questions they have about the upcoming PTR and other related questions.

Blizzard didn't previously do PTRs for Diablo 4 until Season 4, which involved the highly anticipated itemization reworks that had been promised for nearly a year. This proved to be the right move, as the feedback, changes, and adjustments helped make Season 4 a hit with players and give the game a much-needed shot of adrenaline.

At the time of writing, wit's unclear exactly what season 5 will entail, but more will likely be revealed during the stream, with a Developer Update stream (the larger, more detailed stream) to occur sometime after this campfire chat.

As for Diablo 4 right now, the game has just had its midseason update, with changes and tweaks to class abilities and items, as well as some quality-of-life improvements. In addition, the developers recently announced that Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion for Diablo 4, would be released on October 8.
