The wait is almost over for those who already finished the main campaign of Diablo 4, as Blizzard will unveil more information about Diablo 4 Season 1 next week. This first season should bring additional content and rewards for Diablo 4 players who would like more reasons to keep on exploring the open world of Sanctuary. Diablo 4 takes place 50 years after the events of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, which saw an intense battle between demons and angels. The mayhem caused by these events made room for cultists to summon Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto, who intends on taking control of Sanctuary. The seasonal model in Diablo 4 will bring additional content for players who already completed the main campaign, letting them create a new character per season to unlock additional questlines, mechanics, and cosmetics. The exact details of what should come with the first season of Diablo 4 will be revealed on July 6 at 11am PT, as Blizzard will host a Diablo developer update stream to talk about both Diablo 4 Season 1 and the new class coming to Diablo Immortal.

One month after its initial release, Diablo 4 will unveil more information about what players can expect from its first season. Rod Fergusson, who oversees the development of Blizzard’s ARPG, already confirmed that players will need to create a new character for each Diablo 4 season. Seasonal characters will get access to exclusive questlines and mechanics, and each Diablo 4 season will come with a dedicated Battle Pass whose exact content remains a mystery to this date.

While waiting for the next season to begin, Diablo 4 players continue to explore the world of Sanctuary and share their interesting findings on social media. A motivated Diablo 4 player spent hours exploring 1,270 cellars to figure out which enemies were the most frequent and how much gold they could make, as others are killing thousands of monsters to try and get the ultra-rare Unique items hidden throughout Sanctuary.
