Diablo 4's early access release will be available beginning Thursday, June 1 at 4pm PT, while the regular launch is scheduled for Monday, June 5 at 4pm PT. Blizzard recently gave Diablo 4 fans the chance to try the long-awaited new game through a pair of beta tests, but now the full game is nearing its official release.

The first Diablo 4 beta was only available to those that have pre-ordered the game, whereas the second beta was open to everyone. The Diablo 4 beta was a huge success for Blizzard, smashing franchise records and indicating that the game's official launch is going to be huge. While many fans came away from the Diablo 4 beta with a highly positive view of the game, there were still some concerns, so hopefully Blizzard is able to iron those out come launch in June.

Just as fans had to pre-order Diablo 4 to get access to the first beta, those interested in playing the full game early will have to pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate editions of Diablo 4. Doing so will grant players access to the game on Thursday, June 1 at 4pm PT, as recently confirmed by Blizzard's Mike Ybarra. Those that don't care about early access can start playing on Monday, June 5 at 4pm PT. This is a day earlier than previously reported, so Diablo 4 fans will want to adjust their calendars accordingly, though the game's official release date is technically still listed as Tuesday, June 6, so don't expect to see it on store shelves until then.

When is Diablo 4 Coming Out?

  • Early Access: June 1 at 4pm PT
  • Launch: June 5 at 4pm PT

When Diablo 4 launches in June, players will have access to five classes. The Diablo 4 classes are Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer, with beta data indicating that the Necromancer and Sorcerer classes are the most popular picks among fans. Now that Diablo fans have had the chance to play as all the different classes for themselves during the game's beta testing period, it's possible that gamers will choose something else and the most popular class will change.

Coming out of the beta tests, it seems many Diablo 4 players felt that the Druid needed some work, while the Sorcerer was an especially overpowered class. Blizzard could be adjusting things about the classes based on beta feedback, so it will definitely be interesting to see how it all shakes out come release. Luckily, Diablo 4's release date is right around the corner, so fans don't have to wait too much longer to play the game again.

Diablo 4 is out June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
