According to a recent data mine, Diablo 4 is set to release on June 5, 2023 (or June 6, depending on the region). This information comes after several rumors and leaks have indicated Diablo 4 would be at The Game Awards, suggesting fans will get this official announcement soon. This isn't the first release date potentially associated with The Game Awards to appear online ahead of time, as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's release date leaked online as well. EA and Respawn responded by confirming that the game would be at the show, but it remains to be seen if Blizzard makes the same move.RELATED: Diablo 4 Devs Explain Combat and Power Fantasy in New VideoThis release date leak comes from a reliable source: Aggiornamenti Lumia, who has datamined similar information from the Microsoft Store in the past. According to Lumia, the game also clocks in with a file size of 80 GBs on Xbox (though it is unclear if this is the Xbox One or Series X version). It will also reportedly have a standard edition, digital deluxe edition, and ultimate edition, which is not surprising for the game and the current industry. Despite the trustworthiness of this source, this release date should be taken with a grain of salt until Diablo 4 developer Blizzard confirms it one way or another. Luckily, if The Game Awards rumors are to be believed, then fans don't have a long wait ahead of them.

This is just one of many rumored and/or leaked game announcements ahead of The Game Awards. Other potential titles include Final Fantasy 16's release date, a Metal Gear Solid 5 remake reveal, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 gameplay reveal, a proper reveal of Kojima's next game (believed to be Death Stranding 2), Horizon Forbidden West DLC reveal, and more. Perhaps the most anticipated, but least likely, are reveals of Elden Ring DLC, as well as a new trailer for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

No matter what, fans will know what's at the showcase for sure soon. It's shorter than most years, but fans will be able to tune into The Game Awards on December 8, with the pre-show set to begin at 4:30 PT/ 7:30 ET.
