Blizzard has shared a list of major ongoing technical issues from Diablo 4's ongoing open beta, as well as fixes that it has issued in real-time. Diablo 4 remains planned for full release in early June, so the beta is expected to have some frustrating technical issues. There are still months of development left before Diablo 4 is finished, after all. Blizzard is doing its best to remain transparent about these issues, to help players avoid problems as they're playing through Diablo 4's early story.Technical issues were not unexpected among the Diablo 4 playerbase, of course. The Diablo 4 early access beta that was held this past weekend also had its fair share of problems, with Blizzard similarly updating players regarding key issues and fixes. While not every problem was solved, Blizzard did make dramatic improvements to some areas of worry. Server disconnects were decreased, broken queue timers have been improved, and many other smaller issues were touched on.RELATED: Diablo 4 Contest Offers Max-Level Beta Players Chance at a Strange RewardThe trend established by Blizzard during Diablo 4's early access beta has carried over to the open beta. A list of ongoing key issues has been published on Blizzard's official forums for Diablo 4. Three primary areas of interest were noted. The first, and most significant, is a trend of players being disconnected and then being unable to rejoin Diablo 4. Blizzard states that this is tied to other errors, including party errors and Diablo 4 network performance issues. In other words, it seems unlikely to be solved during the open beta.

As for the other two issues Blizzard listed in its thread, they're less serious and more specific than the first. One of them is that PC players who have the game in Fullscreen mode can crash when they alt-tab. The other is referred to as unspecific issues with in-game voice dialogue. Blizzard has issued fixes for both of these problems. However, for those who want to be safe, swapping to Windowed Fullscreen mode and English dialogue should keep these technical issues from occurring.

Blizzard does also mention again that queue times are expected over the weekend, which will fluctuate depending on the time of day region by region. A fix was issued on Friday to improve queue times, though, so players will hopefully have low queue times if any at all. Blizzard also mentions possible server downtime, though none has been confirmed yet.

The Diablo 4 open beta will last through Monday at noon and remains the last opportunity to try the game before its June launch. It's still ultimately a beta, with Blizzard collecting data and feedback to improve the game for launch. The technical issues are unfortunate but expected and understandable. Diablo 4 should be a better game at launch as a result.

Diablo 4 releases June 6 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
