A special promotion at KFC is offering early access beta codes for Diablo 4, so long as customers purchase one of the fast food chain's Double Down fried chicken sandwiches. Diablo 4 is one of the most highly anticipated game releases of 2023 and its upcoming beta will be the first opportunity most have to try the game out. For those who aren't interested in pre-ordering Diablo 4, purchasing a KFC Double Down might be a tasty if not entirely healthy alternative. The open beta for Diablo 4 was announced mid-February. Blizzard confirmed that the open beta would last just one single weekend, between March 24 and March 26. Those who pre-purchase Diablo 4, however, would get and extra weekend to play between March 17 and 19. With Diablo 4 launching in June, this beta will be the only opportunity to play for the next several months. That makes the early access open beta for Diablo 4 that much more enticing.RELATED: Diablo 4 PC Minimum and Recommended System Requirements ConfirmedKFC is now offering Diablo fans a new opportunity to access the extra open beta weekend that doesn't require pre-purchasing the game. According to the KFC website, customers can purchase a Double Down or any other KFC Sandwich through the KFC app to receive a code to Diablo 4's early access beta. The promotion has already started and will last through March 18, though codes will only be available while supplies last.

Pricing for the Double Down or for other KFC sandwiches will vary dramatically region by region. The sandwich alone will likely cost between $9 and $10, with combos bundled with fries and a drink around $12 and $13. For those who don't want to spend that much, there's a great alternative. The KFC Chicken Little Sandwich can be purchased for around $2-3 and is listed as including a Diablo 4 early access code, too.

There are several KFC sandwiches to choose from that include a Diablo 4 open beta early access code, if food is the priority. There's the Chicken Little Sandwich, the KFC Chicken Sandwich, the Bacon & Cheese Chicken Sandwich, and of course the Double Down with its fried chicken buns. Sadly, KFC's bucket of chicken, tenders, and wraps are not included in the offer.

KFC may not be for everyone, but for those who love fast food fried chicken or for those desperate to get ahold of an early access beta key ahead of March 17, this is a great option. Try out the returning Double Down, get a cheap key with a Chicken Little Sandwich, or just take the family out for an easy dinner and score a Diablo 4 code in the process. Diablo 4 is arriving before long, and some KFC may be the best way to try the game out sooner than expected.

Diablo 4 releases June 6 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
