While the first two weekends of Diablo 4's beta have come and gone, players will have yet another chance to play the upcoming game again in May. In order to not only try out this upcoming ARPG but also get all the cool uniques available for the beta only, players will need to hop onto what is being called Server Slam weekend.

There are a couple of cosmetic items and two titles that players can earn, one more cosmetic than was available during the first two betas in March. This is called the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy, and it will be completely unique to Server Slam weekend.

Rewards for Playing the Diablo 4 Server Slam Beta

There are going to be four total rewards from the Diablo 4 Server Slam, and three of these will be intimately familiar to those who played a few hours of the original two Diablo 4 Beta weekends. They are:

  • Initial Casualty Title: earned by reaching Kyovashad with one character.
  • Early Voyager Title: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
  • Diablo 4 Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
  • Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy: A cosmetic not offered in the two original weekends.

How to Get the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy During Diablo 4's Server Slam Beta

In order to get the Cry of Ashava trophy, players just need to kill the only world boss in Diablo 4's beta named Ashava. This massive, undead pet of Lilith is not an easy fight; players will need to make sure they top off their characters' levels to the beta's cap of 20 and fill their armor and weapon slots with the best possible items.

While the world boss spawn times have not yet been posted for the May 2023 beta, players can expect that the monster will show up roughly the same times as she did in the first two betas: on Sunday for four time slots.

The original two beta weekends' Ashava World Boss spawn times were the same for both the Open and Early Access Betas. They were limited to the four time slots of 10 AM, 12 PM, 10 PM PDT and Midnight PDT. This time around Ashava will spawn:

  • First spawn: May 13 at 9 a.m. PDT
  • Every 3 hours
  • Last Spawn: May 14 at 9 a.m. PDT

Given that this beta looks fairly similar to the original two, players can bet on these times being accurate for the May Beta as well. The only things that will most likely be different during the new beta weekend will be the updates Blizzard made to Diablo 4 based on the Beta feedback, like making some bosses easier for melee characters and getting rid of an attack speed buff that was mistakenly created by move-canceling.

So, if players just make sure to visit the big city during their playthrough, make it to level 20, and defeat the world boss Ashava before the Server Slam beta is completed, they can get any Beta exclusives they may have missed the first time around and the new Mount Trophy as well.

Diablo 4 will be available on June 6, 2023, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
