UPDATE 6/28: Patch 1.0.3 is now live, and it makes some significant changes to Experience rewards. These changes have altered to best approach to earning fast levels, and players can find details on the best Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.3 XP farms at the link.

Original story follows.

Diablo 4's Hotfix 9 was released on June 13, and it made "further adjustments to elite monster density in dungeons." This change effectively nerfed Ruins of Eridu, a dungeon that was being used to farm quick XP, and some players may now have questions about what they should do in order to level up quickly. This guide is here to address those questions, and details on the best post-Hotfix 9 XP farms in Diablo 4 can be found below.

To note, the fastest ways to earn XP still center around repeatedly clearing standard dungeons. As such, having the ability to quickly reset maps continues to play a very important role in efficient XP farming. Fortunately, it is now possible for even solo players to instantly reset dungeons in Diablo 4 without ever exiting the game, provided that they are willing to do a small amount of setup.

Diablo 4: Best New XP Farm After Hotfix 9

Uldur's Cave, a dungeon within Kehjistan's Ragged Coastline, is currently considered the game's best XP farm. Indeed, this map's high mob density and number of elites, coupled with its linear layout, make it a great place to level up, and it has been marked on the first map in this guide. That said, Diablo 4 players that like to grind in groups may prefer a dungeon with a more open floorplan, and fortunately there is a great option available to them.

Specifically, Blind Burrows is another excellent post-Hotfix 9 XP farm, and it may work better than Uldur's Cave for some groups. For full clarity, this dungeon, which is located within Hawezar's Fethis Wetlands, has been marked on the second map in this guide, and fans may notice that is positioned very near to the aforementioned Ruins of Eridu. Notably, while Eridu has been significantly nerfed, players could still consider rotating between it and Blind Burrows if they want to add a bit of excitement to their grinds.

One final thing to mention is that Iron Hold, a Diablo 4 dungeon in Hawezar's Ruins of Rakhat Keep, is also a great farming location following the changes to Ruins of Eridu. This is specifically due to the large packs of Elites that can be found in the dungeon's second half, and players that grow tired of Uldur's Cave and Blind Burrows should consider visiting it. The third map in this guide will make it easy for fans to find the Iron Hold, and they should be prepared to do battle with many powerful enemies simultaneously.

Diablo 4 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
