The wait for the Destroy All Humans remake is almost over. Soon, Crypto the alien will touch down on Earth and restart his destruction on the world. Only six days away from the release, fans are given a taste of the Saucer weapons in a new trailer.

The remake is based on the classic shooter that released in 2005 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox originally. The remake will follow the same story as the classic but will have more content than the original Destroy All Humans. Players will control Crypto as he launches an invasion on Earth, using his wide arsenal of weapons and psychokinesis abilities. Crypto also causes massive destruction with his flying saucer, which is used to travel at high speeds and to blow up any building standing in the way.

Crypto's saucer is fitted with a dangerous array of weapons, each wreaking havoc in a different way. The new trailer shows off the capabilities of some of the weapons, including the Death Ray, Sonic Boom, the Abduction Beam, and what appears to be the Quantum Deconstructor. The trailer truly shows that each weapon can be used any situation and that the player can decide how they want to destroy.

The saucer's Death Ray is much like Crypto's main weapon, the Disintegrator Ray. Both are destructive beams that fry anything they are pointed at. The trailer does show off an upgraded Death Ray, so it is expected many of the weapons will change and get stronger throughout the story. Crypto's saucer also changes color based on the weapons used, which is a cool feature from the original game.

The remake's graphics are lightyears ahead of the original. Everything reacts so well to the saucer's weapons in the trailer. Trees and cars can be seen completely charred by the Death Ray, and buildings blow up in a bright explosion when hit with a shockwave. Each weapon looks amazing in use and the saucer itself looks improved but still maintains the original design.

When Destroy All Humans releases on July 28th, players will get a hefty dose of nostalgia and much more. The Destroy All Humans remake will feature a whole new level based on the secret army base, Area 51. The collector's edition will also reward players with different Crypto skins, although it is unknown if skins can be earned in-game as well. Destroy All Humans will have improvements from the first, but will still keep all the alien invasion fun from the original.

Destroy All Humans launches July 28 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
