While collectibles are common throughout each Season and Expansion for Destiny 2, Season of the Seraph kicks it up a significant notch. For players familiar with the Warmind expansion back in Year 1, Sleeper Nodes return in the form of Warmind Nodes. Beyond that, there are 50 Security Drones that Destiny 2 players can find and destroy with Revision Zero, the new Exotic weapon.

As if that wasn't enough, there is even a secret mechanical dog that Destiny 2 players can find. It takes a great deal of time to reach this robotic canine, but here is how players can find the mechanical dog.

How to Find the Mechanical Dog

Destiny 2 players should keep in mind that in order to find the mechanical dog, they will first need to have completed the first three weeks of More Than a Weapon. Aside from telling the story of Season 19, this quest also unlocks an Exotic mission called Operation: Seraph's Shield. Near the end of this mission, players will notice a strange door that can't be opened. On the left of this door is a panel with 50 unlit lights.

Upon first completing this mission, Destiny 2 players will get an Exotic weapon called Revision Zero. This weapon allows players to destroy the Security Drones scattered across Europa, the Moon, the three Heist Battleground activities, and Operation: Seraph's Shield. With each Security Drone destroyed, the panel next to the door will gradually light up.

The majority of the Security Drones in Operation: Seraph's Shield can only be accessed once players have the Security Clearance and Tactical Armor upgrades. These upgrades are unlocked as players progress further through More Than a Weapon.

Once all 50 Security Drones have been destroyed, players will be able to open this door. On the other side is a hallway of lasers and a door that can be opened with a terminal beyond that. After that, players can step on the platform ahead and be teleported into a new area.

On the other side of the teleporter is a dark chasm filled with pipes and narrow walkways that Destiny 2 players can jump onto. Along the way, players should keep an eye out for turrets along the wall and destroy them as quickly as possible. Keep jumping from platform to platform and eventually come across a room where players need to jump down a ramp. On the ramp there is a white light and a red light.

Make sure to jump where the white light is, as jumping where the red light is leads players into a nearly unavoidable death trap. Continue onward until reaching a large hole. Jump down and aim for the doorway near the bottom. Upon entering the room, Destiny 2 players will see a mechanical dog standing in the middle of a dark room with a teleporter behind it.

Upon petting the dog, Destiny 2 players will get a Triumph. Once the mechanical dog has been found, he will show up at the H.E.L.M. next to the Exo Frame. The mechanical dog can be pet and players will get yet another Triumph for petting the mechanical dog.

Destiny 2 is available now on Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
