Bungie teases new details coming to next week's Destiny 2 update including re-enabling exotics like Khepri's Horn, making a change to rewards granted after completing the Last Wish weekly quest, and more. As a live service title, Destiny 2 is a game that is constantly evolving and after 6 years, the experience has seen considerable adjustments. After switching to a seasonal update schedule, Bungie has managed to make the game free-to-play, add in crossplay, cross save, and has even brought Destiny 2 to platforms like the Epic Games Store.

However, with content and features constantly being added or tweaked, it has also opened the door for some unexpected issues and bugs, something which fans seem to think is happening more often as of late. In fact, a recently discovered Destiny 2 bug allows arcstrider Hunters to also use Strand abilities thanks to newly added aspects. Bungie has shown its ability to quickly address major problems with the game, sometimes outright disabling an item if warranted, such as the case with the Titan exotic known as Khepri's Horn.

During the first week of Season 21 Iron Banner, Titans wearing the exotic helmet were able to end matches in under a minute as points earned at a capture point rapidly filled their team's meter. After disabling the exotic armor, Bungie has revealed in its Destiny 2 weekly blog post that the update scheduled for launch on June 13 will return with a fix in place. Vesper of Radius has had its explosions toned down when used with certain weapons and Subracers have also received a fix so that their solar grenade duration is once again increased as expected.

The patch notes in full will be revealed sometime next week, but Bungie also revealed a few additional fixes for issues like grenades going through Barricades and Wards of Dawn and the Collective Action perk is getting nerfed from 20% to 10% damage buff. The studio also reiterated that the extra reward granted from finishing the Last Wish weekly quest from Hawthorne was unintentional and is going away with this update. After that point, players will only be getting one Deepsight weapon each week, as well as the one earned from the final chest of the Riven encounter.

Recently, there's been a lot of chatter from the Destiny 2 community regarding missing content that players feel was promised. Gambit has been at the center of many conversations as the game mode hasn't received a meaningful update in years. Ritual armor sets are another hot topic, with many frustrated that playlist activities like Iron Banner or Trials have not had new sets added in nearly a year.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
