A Destiny 2 player discovers a helpful trick for cheesing the normally difficult sparrow section of the new Hypernet Current strike, especially for those attempting the Grandmaster difficulty. Challenge has been a hot topic for both Bungie and the Destiny 2 community, as there are some that felt the power creep has rendered many activities far easier than originally intended. The feedback clearly reached the studio as Bungie issued numerous changes and updates alongside the Lightfall expansion.

The biggest shift alongside the massive Lightfall update was an increase in engagement by preventing players from essentially steamrolling content and increasing the challenge across most content. However, as fans quickly discovered, some things were potentially overtuned including Cabal thresher ships which were one shotting players across Destiny 2. While Bungie has since made numerous adjustments, it hasn't stopped players from continuing to look for ways to cheese their way through some of the tougher sections of the game.

Alongside the Lightfall expansion, Destiny 2 received a new strike activity called Hypernet Current that takes players into the Vex Network on Neomuna. Attempting to reactivate the city's defenses through the CloudArk, players have to deal with plenty of Vex and Taken, while completing tricky sections on their Sparrow. Things get even more intense now that the Grandmaster difficulty has arrived into Destiny 2, though a player on the subReddit called iLLSuiTed13 has shared a very handy cheese to make this section so much easier to get through.

Prior to taking the lift up to the sparrow section, Destiny 2 players will be working together to clear Taken Blights using Arc Craniums. With a percentage indicating progress, each player will want to make sure to pick up an arc cranium right before 100% is hit. Once the objective is complete, 2 players will have their arc cranium weapons despawned, but that one remaining player can take the lift and use it to shoot at the first blight on the sparrow track to destroy it. Doing so causes every other blight to disappear as well, which eliminates all of the challenge of getting through it.

Alongside the difficulty spike, players have been fairly vocal with some other aspects of the Lightfall expansion that seemingly haven't lived up to expectations. In fact, players have found much easier ways to deal with some Destiny 2 expansion bosses like Ioneion as well as Calus. Oddly enough, for the once mighty Cabal emperor, the newest Disciple of the Witness can be completely undone by a staircase and a fast firing weapon like the Osteo Striga exotic Submachine Gun.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
