The deluxe edition of The Witch Queen comes with seasons 16-19, two Year-5 dungeons, and a few exotic items. Every season in Destiny 2 adds a lot of new content, and fans can also choose to purchase each season individually. The latest This Week At Bungie post contains a lot of new information on various changes coming to Destiny 2. The section on Season Pass states that Seasonal armor with high stats will get re-introduced, with individual pieces awarded between ranks 57 and 87. Legendary Engrams are now replaced by focused tier 2 Umbral Engrams, one for each armor piece. Additionally, the Season Pass emblem is replaced by a Season Pass Sparrow, while scrounger bonuses have been overhauled.

Bungie mentions that, save for the emblem, no other items have been removed from the Season Pass in Destiny 2. Other changes include consolidation of Glimmer and Legendary Shards to make room for high-stat armor and the addition of some Upgrade Modules. The order of some rewards has been changed, and Bungie then confirms that it will share a full list of patch notes next week.

The post also shares details on the highly-requested rework of the Gambit mode in Destiny 2. Fans had earlier complained about being constantly invaded in Gambit, and Bungie has now removed one of the Mote thresholds for triggering an invasion. Players can only aim at disturbing the other’s team progress at 40 and 80 Mote thresholds, and can no longer save invasions. The post has a lot of other information, and fans will probably be pleased by all the changes made to Gambit.

Almost every modern multiplayer game has a season or battle pass, and some are more rewarding than others. 343 Industries had also recently revealed its goal of making Halo Infinite’s Battle Pass more rewarding. The developer had come under fire for the overpriced microtransactions, and despite a strong launch, Halo Infinite’s player count has seemingly dwindled months after launch.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
