In week two of Season of the Splicer, 10 more seasonal challenges have been unlocked for Destiny 2 players to complete. A few of this week’s challenges involve exploring the Moon and completing certain objectives within Override.

Destiny 2 players will also need to get kills with lots of different weapon types, both in and out of Override, for certain challenges. Players will also need to continue the Path of the Splicer quest and cooperate with Kell of Light Mithrax to stop the Endless Night.

Here are the 10 seasonal challenges for week two of Season of the Splicer in Destiny 2:

Safe Harbor

For this challenge, players need to complete the Path of the Splicer II quest and defeat Champions. Players can start Path of the Splicer II by speaking to the Splicer Servitor in the HELM and it involves one run of the Override seasonal activity.

As for the Champions, they can be found in Override, Nightfall Strikes on Hero difficulty or higher, and in Legend and Master Lost Sectors. Destiny 2 players can try to get the new Season of the Splicer Exotic Boots for each class by running these high difficulty Lost Sectors.

Theseus Protocol

To complete this challenge, players need to defeat Portunos, the Vex Minotaur boss, in the Moon version of Override. This version of the activity is mostly identical to Override: Europa except for some slight differences to the final boss encounter. Players also need to defeat powerful Vex with bonus progress being awarded for defeating those enemies in Override or Expunge missions – Expunge will be arriving in week three.

Crack and Decrypt I

Destiny 2 players need to open 15 Conflux Chests in Override and focus 15 Umbral Engrams at the Prismatic Recaster to complete this challenge. Progress for these challenges is tracked retroactively so players will likely already have some these objectives partially completed. To open Override Conflux Chests, players will need to use the Splicer Gauntlet to craft Key Codes using Ether.

Meanwhile, Umbral Engrams can be focused at the Prismatic Recaster in the HELM. Higher level focuses are more expensive and will generally require an amount of Decrypted Data, which is earned mainly from Conflux Chests in Override. The Safe Harbor and Theseus Protocol challenges also award 150 Decrypted Data each upon completion.

Auto Rifle Splicer

This challenge tasks Destiny 2 players with defeating enemies using Auto Rifles in Override missions. Auto Rifle multikills will award bonus progress too. The new Chroma Rush Auto Rifle from Override can roll with lots of new perks and is very powerful. Any players that do not already have one can get one as a reward for completing the Safe Harbor challenge. Players could use two Auto Rifles during Override missions to complete this challenge as quickly as possible.

Light Moon Rising

For this challenge, players need to patrol the Moon to complete bounties and various activities. Players must complete 10 bounties from Eris Morn, who can be found at the Sanctuary fast travel point, and can earn progress towards the other objective by completing patrols, Lost Sectors, and Public Events.

Starting at Sanctuary, a good route to follow is to head West towards Archer’s Line and complete any easy patrols or Public Events in the area and then head into the nearby Lost Sector. Once completed players can do the same activities at the Hellmouth and then Anchor of Light to easily complete this challenge.

Challenger’s Cipher

To complete this challenge, Destiny 2 players just need to decrypt five Prime Engrams. Prime Engrams are earned randomly but reasonably frequently during any activity. Players will then need to take any they have to Master Rahool in the Tower to be decrypted into gear.

Mid-Range Calibration

For this challenge, players need to get kills with Auto Rifles, Hand Cannons, Fusion Rifles and Machine Guns on the Moon. Getting multikills with these weapon types will also award bonus progress. Players should pair the previously mentioned Chroma Rush Auto Rifle with the Null Composure Fusion Rifle, which is this season’s pursuit weapon.

Dredgin’ Up Victory

For this week’s Gambit challenge, Destiny 2 players need to complete matches. Wins award additional progress.

Iron Sharpens Iron

Destiny 2 players need to head into the Iron Banner during Season of the Splicer to complete this challenge. Progress is earned by completing matches, with wins awarding bonus progress. Players need to be aware that this challenge can only be progressed during the occasional week-long Iron Banner events. It will be impossible for players to complete this challenge if they miss the final Iron Banner event of the season, so players should complete this as soon as possible. Players should also look out for more Iron Banner-related seasonal challenges throughout this season.

Anti-Cabal Sweep

For this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to defeat Cabal enemies in Strikes, with kills on powerful Cabal awarding bonus progress. Proving Grounds, The Arms Dealer, and The Insight Terminus are all good Cabal-themed Strikes that feature a lot of powerful Cabal too.
