The second week of the More Than a Weapon quest is now live in Destiny 2. During the first week of this quest, players rescued Clovis-1 from Xivu Arath's forces. Ana Bray is less than thrilled to be working with her grandfather due to all the terrible things he did and questionable research he was in charge of.
With one submind acquired, efforts to restore Raspution are going well so far. But in order to complete the job, several more subminds will need to be found along with gaining access to an orbital station above Earth. Here is how players can complete the second week of More Than a Weapon.
Talk to Clovis
After finishing a tense conversation with his granddaughters, Clovis informs Destiny 2 players that another submind has been found on Mars. Once Clovis is done talking, the quest will update and players will need to complete an activity called Heist Battleground: Mars.
Complete Heist Battleground: Mars
As of the second week of Season of the Seraph, Destiny 2 players will have access to another Heist Battleground location. This one takes place on Mars, and players may be familiar with it as it is an old area from Warmind. While there are some objectives unique to this Heist Battleground, it follows the same pattern as other Heist Battlegrounds. There are no Champions since it isn't the playlist version of the activity.
Unlock a Seraph Chest
Following the pattern as most seasonal story quests, the next thing Destiny 2 players will need to do is load up the Heist Battleground playlist. Before loading in, make sure to equip the appropriate Exotics or seasonal mods to deal with Barrier and Unstoppable Champions. At the end of the activity, make sure to use 500 Seraph Key Codes to unlock the Seraph Chest.
Complete Operation: Diocles
With the Seraph Chest looted, Destiny 2 players will gain access to a new mission called Operation: Diocles. This mission takes place in the same area as Operation: Archimedes, but the objective is different. Shortly into the mission, players discover that Xivu Arath's forces have blocked off the route that was used before. As a result, another entrance into the facility needs to be found.
Follow the diamond toward the wall while staying behind cover to avoid being killed by the towers. In order to get up on the wall where the Hive Knight is, jump up onto the series of rock ledges and use the machinery on the wall to take cover from the towers. Once on the wall, go to the right and look for a vent.
Crawl through the vent and avoid the lasers along the way. After leaving the vents, Destiny 2 players will encounter barriers conjured by Hive magic. In order to get past these barriers, kill Wizards and then destroy the crystals once the shields are down. For every barrier, there are three crystals that maintain it.
Once players reach the final room, they will need to fight two Wizards at once. There are also two Shriekers in this room that activate as the fight progresses. SInce this is a respawn restricted zone, be very careful about positioning as getting caught unaware by a Shrieker can end poorly. When the bosses reach 50% health, players will need to destroy the crystals to bring down the shields. The bosses also have an AoE fire ability, so players should make sure to get behind cover when this attack goes off. After killing the two bosses, go up to the terminal and download the launch codes.
Use the Holoprojector
After the mission is over, return to the H.E.L.M. and use the Holoprojector to speak with Ana Bray. She informs Destiny 2 players that progress on restoring Rasputin is going well and then discusses her past. When Ana is done talking, speak with Clovis-1 at the Exo Frame and choose one of the three rewards he offers. If players need Resonate Stems, he does them as one of the rewards. Talking to Clovis is the final step for Week 2, and players will have to wait till Week 3 when Clovis will be done decrypting the launch codes.
