In spite of Mithrax's attempts to shut her out, Eido is bound and determined to stay involved with the efforts to claim the relics in the fourth week of Season 18 in Destiny 2. Some interesting story developments happen in Week 4, so players who are interested in finding out for themselves what happens will want to be careful as there are spoilers ahead.

While the storyline takes an interesting new turn, the format for the weekly story quest remains the same as ever. That said, here is how Destiny 2 players can complete this weekly quest and advance the story.

Use The Star Chart

Destiny 2 players will first need to go to the H.E.L.M. and use the Star Chart to get a message from Eido. She talks about her determination to help support the cause while also informing players that she spoke to Mithrax about his unusual behavior. Once she is done, Destiny 2 players will be able to continue the quest. From here, players will need to restore a map using Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates, if they have enough to do so.

Find Buried Treasure

Once Destiny 2 players have restored the map, the next step is to use it in the Expedition playlist to loot a buried treasure at the end. The wording is a little confusing for the second objective, but in addition to the buried treasure players will also need to get 50 kills in either Expedition or on Europa. Since Expeditions throw many enemies at players, it is very easy to complete both objectives at once with a single Expedition activity.

Clear Pirate Hideout: The Beast Tamer

As usual, once both objectives are complete Destiny 2 players will have access to the next Pirate Hideout. It is not recommended to do this activity under 1570 Power as a lot of aggressive adds (additional enemies) will spawn in regular intervals. As players enter the Hideout, the first thing they will notice is a bunch of dead bodies. Drifter and Spider also comment on this strange turn of events. As players progress through the Hideout they will eventually encounter the Pirate Lord and their crew that survived the attack.

The boss does have any unique attacks or abilities for players to watch out for beyond the usual stomping if players get too close to her. But as their health drops, more adds will spawn. Among these adds are several large Cabal War Beasts. Players will need to kill them before they can damage the boss again, but they should be careful not to let them get too close as they do a lot of damage. There are no Champions, so players will not need to worry about that. Once the boss is dead, players will be able to loot the relic and move on to the next stage of the quest.

Use The Holoprojector Outside The Ether Tank

There are no conversations to listen to at the Ether Tank in Week 4. Instead, Destiny 2 players will use the Holoprojector to report the incident to Mithrax. In case it wasn't already obvious based on his behavior, Mithrax finally admits that he is hiding details about the relics. That said, he isn't ready to talk about it yet and implores players to be patient and give him time. Once he is done talking, this week's story quest wraps up with Destiny 2 players claiming yet another Engram from Spider.

Destiny 2 is now available for Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
