The story of Season 18 in Destiny 2 continues in Week 2. The first week revealed that Eramis is back, and she has been sent by the Witness to retrieve some mysterious relics that appear to be filled with Darkness.

It is up to Destiny 2 players to set out and steal these relics before Eramis can get her hands on them. All the while, it seems like Mithrax knows more than he is letting on but refuses to elaborate. This guide will show players how to complete this week's quest and see where the story goes next in Sails of the Shipstealer.

Use the Star Chart

The first step of Week 2 is to interact with the Star Chart located in the H.E.L.M. There, Destiny 2 players will get a transmission from Mithrax. He doesn't say much, but he emphasizes the importance of getting the relics before Eramis does. Once he is done talking, players will get the next step of the quest.

Complete an Expedition

The next step is to make a map with the Captain's Atlas using Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates so that Destiny 2 players can dig up a buried treasure chest. Unlike the first week, there is another objective as well. In addition to needing to loot a buried chest, Destiny 2 players will also need to kill 50 combatants in the Cosmodrome.

There are three different Expedition missions, and one of them takes place at the Cosmodrome. Players have no way of selecting individual missions for Expedition, so they will just need to hope that they get lucky with matchmaking.

That said, players can also get kills at the Cosmodrome destination and complete this requirement outside of Expeditions. Since kills in the Cosmodrome Expedition provide bonus progress towards this quest step, players will want to try to get this step done while they are doing an Expedition.

Regardless of how they choose to do it, once players complete both steps, the quest will advance. Here is a guide explaining Expeditions and how they work.

Clear Pirate Hideout: The Sharpshooter

Just like with the first week, Destiny 2 players will need to clear a Pirate Hideout to find the next relic. This time, they will face off against Iriks the Sharpshooter. Once Destiny 2 players enter the Hideout, they will need to watch out as the boss will be taking shots at them far above on a ledge. Iriks will have a shield that prevents him from taking damage, so players shouldn't bother to shoot him yet.

Once players reach the final chamber, they will get to fight Iriks. Iriks doesn't do a lot of damage, but the Tracer Shanks that spawn periodically throughout the fight pack a punch.

Throughout the fight, a shield will appear around Iriks, and it can only be removed by destroying all Tracer Shanks that spawn next to the boss. As with last week, there are no Champions, so players can just focus on clearing adds (additional enemies) and damaging the boss. Once Iriks is dead, players will be able to loot the relic and move on to the next step of the quest.

Visit Spider at the Ether Tank

After clearing the Pirate Hideout, Destiny 2 players will need to go to the Ether Tank in the Eliksni Quarter to listen to Mithrax and Spider having a little chat. Spider insists that they should claim the power of the relics for themselves, which makes Mithrax uncharacteristically angry. After the tense conversation ends, Spider tells Destiny 2 players to get out.

The next step is to use the Holoprojector outside the Ether Tank and speak to Drifter. After a brief chat with him, Destiny 2 players will need to go back to Spider despite the fact that he told them to get out. Once again, players will be presented with three Engrams. It doesn't matter which one is chosen as the result is a useless green item.

That concludes the quest Week 2, and Destiny 2 players wanting to know what will happen next will need to go back to the H.E.L.M. to pick up the quest for Week 3.

Destiny 2 is now available for Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
