Destiny 2 is about to enter the fifth week of Season of the lost, and with 155 days separating players from the launch of The Witch Queen, this is as good a time as ever to talk about Darkness subclasses. There is only one in the game at the moment, which is Stasis, but Bungie did confirm that Destiny 2 players will be getting a new Darkness subclass with Lightfall and, presumably, another one with The Final Shape. This is important because it means that Light subclasses 2.0 will likely have a strong impact on the game when they drop next year.

In the meantime, Stasis has seen a lot of use in Destiny 2 thus far, and thanks to its Aspects and Fragments it helps players customize what their characters do. However, Stasis has also seen a lot of changes since its introduction in Beyond Light, and that's because the game doesn't have separate sandboxes for PVE and PVP. In fact, most of the tweaks for Stasis came after issues arose in the Crucible and Trials of Osiris.

Now, a Destiny 2 player and Redditor by the name of IRonin2296 found out an odd interaction between the Revenant Hunters' Shatterdive and enemy Glacier Grenades. The player showcases a video of them using Shatterdive on an enemy Titan's Glacier Grenade and destroying the crystals successfully and unharmed. Then, the Hunter throws a Glacier Grenade for the Titan to slide via Cryoclasm into it, but that's when the Titan destroys the crystals and gets killed by the explosions.

With Shatterdive being all the talk in Trials of Osiris because of its incredible kill potential, even without Stasis crystals to shatter, IRonin2296's clip poses the question as to if this is intentional or not. Many players are currently asking for Shatterdive nerfs within the subreddits dedicated to Destiny 2, and they are garnering a lot of following. What is shown in the video is not confirmed to be a bug, though, but it's worth noting that in the past Shatterdiving into enemy crystals would kill the Hunter as well.

With several glitches plaguing the game in Season 15, it's not uncommon for players to discover new ones. An example is what happens with the Necrotic Grip Warlock Exotic gloves, chaining poisons as well as burn damage and explosions when paired with bottom tree Dawnblade. It's unclear if Bungie will take action on Shatterdive, but the community certainly seems to hope so.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
