Destiny 2 players are turning to a forgotten Exotic from Season of the Seraph, Hierarchy of Needs, in order to cheese and easily clear Grandmaster Nightfall strikes. GM Nightfalls offer a compelling challenge for Destiny 2 players that meet the power and gear requirements, but various methods may circumvent the most difficult encounters for those wanting to obtain their weekly rewards as soon as possible.

GM Nightfalls continue to be a vital source of pinnacle gear, Adept weapons, and exotic drops in Year 6 of Destiny 2. In Destiny 2 Season of the Witch, the season's first GM Nightfall was made available on September 12. A total of six GM Nightfalls will be available in Season of the Witch, and players who clear all six strikes may obtain the Conqueror seal and title for the first time. Those who have earned the seal in previous seasons may gild it to display their continued mastery of GM Nightfalls. While attempting to complete the latest GM Nightfall, players have discovered a powerful build that can help others clear it with relative ease.

In the Heist Battleground: Europa GM Nightfall, Destiny 2 player Revenant5333 tested out the Hierarchy of Needs Exotic bow with a Solar build that overpowers most enemies with ease. This Exotic bow appears to be extremely powerful when paired with the Solar Warlock's Phoenix Protocol Exotic chest armor, Ember of Combustion fragment, and an active Well of Radiance. Destiny 2 players have noticed that Hierarchy of Needs will easily ignite and destroy enemies in quick succession, allowing the Warlock to regain their Super energy while the Well of Radiance is still active. Phoenix Protocol boosts returns on Super energy, allowing Revenant5333 to chain Well of Radiance Supers and create more Guidance Rings for the Hierarchy of Needs Exotic bow. As a result, Revenant5333 and fellow Destiny 2 players are able to cheese GM Nightfalls while playing solo.

Destiny 2 players may try out this new build after completing the Spire of the Watcher dungeon. The Hierarchy of Needs Exotic bow may drop for players who clear the final encounter. After obtaining the Exotic bow, the catalyst may be earned by clearing Spire of the Watcher on Master difficulty. This catalyst will increase the bow's draw speed, allowing players to fire more rounds per minute.

The Hierarchy of Needs Exotic bow appears to be an excellent weapon in Destiny 2 with the help of Exotic armor that synergizes with Solar Warlock abilities. Phoenix Protocol is one of the best Warlock Exotics for this particular Solar build, but some may argue that the Mantle of Battle Harmony Exotic chest armor may be a solid alternative due to its Absorption Cells perk. At the very least, the once-forgotten Exotic bow now has a place in the Destiny 2 sandbox as a powerful add-clearing weapon in GM Nightfalls.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
