With a game the size and scope of Destiny 2 that wants to keeping fans coming back every day, sometimes players have to make their own fun out of what the game has provided. So, between jumping into Destiny 2's activities like Dares of Eternity, some players spend their time building in-game cosplays and pulling off challenge runs through difficult situations.

This has led one player, posting online as tjgreene27, to hunt down a specific set of Titan gear and shaders in order to create an in-game costume based on a popular Disney character. Since the inclusion of shaders in Destiny 2 that can individually apply colors to each weapon and piece of armor, players have themed different loadouts either with favored color-schemes or to reflect unrelated franchises.

In this specific case, the player was looking to recreate Winnie the Pooh using several pieces of Destiny 2's Titan armor, including the exotic helmet, Precious Scars. The rest of the outfit is mostly made with Meridian Constellation armor ornaments, and a set of Pathfinder Grieves, all of which are colored with a combination of the Desert of Gold and Noble Constant Red shaders. As a result of the mixing and matching, the player winds up with a rounded looking Titan that is colored a light orange with what appears to be a red shirt.

Fans finding the post on Reddit, which has nearly 3000 upvotes at the time of this writing, are all quite impressed, focusing on how well the Precious Scars helmet gives the appearance of Winnie the Pooh's ears. Some are curious of how some supers might look in this outfit, especially for how Destiny 2's Sunbreaker Titan subclass could work with the orange and red coloring. However, the most prevalent comments are either asking how to recreate the cosplay, or mentioning how this outfit might be seen in other countries where the Winnie the Pooh character is more controversial.

Using some of the armor in Destiny 2 to make costumes is nothing new for players, from building an in-game crossover with The Division or using Felwinter's Helm to recreate a hunter from Bloodborne. Not all costumes are as impressive as this recreation of Winnie the Pooh, but it can still be fun when players are looking to make their own fun between major updates. Hopefully, the new content coming with the upcoming Witch Queen DLC will bring more sets of gear and shaders to expand the list of characters that can be themed into each players' loadouts.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
