The upcoming Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2 will both bring new story and endgame content, but it also ends the current season and its available rewards when it arrives later this month. So, with the expansion's launch on the way, developer Bungie has made the decision to make some changes for the final week of Season of the Lost to help players earn triumphs and their associated prizes, such as titles.

One of these triumphs that Bungie has tweaked is the Realmwalker achievement and accompanying title that is rewarded for earning a specific set of armor mods in game. The change will essentially let any Destiny 2 player with the necessary materials earn everything needed in order to complete the challenge and earn the Realmwalker title across the next week.

In order to gain the Realmwalker title, players needed to hunt down several Destiny 2 armor mods from the Wayfinder's Compass across the course of the Season of the Lost. Specifically, the mods needed for the triumph and title are the Elemental Well mods like Seeking Wells and Well of Striking, eleven of which have been sold by the Wayfinder's Compass throughout the season. While these mods have previously been rotating on a weekly basis throughout Season of the Lost, this final week will see them rotate every two days.

This means that players will have two-day intervals to turn in the necessary Mod Components in order to pick up whichever of these Elemental Well mods they may have missed since the start of the last season. The first set of mods is available at the time of this writing, and will change to the second set on February 18th, with the final set arriving on February 20th. However, once The Witch Queen launches and the season ends, that will be the last chance that players have to pick up the mods required to unlock the Destiny 2 triumphs.

Some fans are mixed over this news, either celebrating that they still have a chance to complete the triumph, or condemning Bungie for giving players an easy path to the triumph in the eleventh hour. Considering the random nature of Wayfinder's Compass from week to week, however, this could be the only chance for players who put in the work to grind the Mod Components with the pieces of the Elemental Mod collection they are missing. Besides, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will bring new exotics, mods, and triumphs for players to hunt down when it arrives, which will likely take even the most vocally negative fans' attention in less than a week.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
