Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service ensures that subscribers constantly have something new to play. Xbox Game Pass has well over 100 games available through it at any given time, and just recently received a massive boost with the surprise early launch of the Halo Infinite multiplayer. But like similar subscription services, games are removed from Xbox Game Pass occasionally as well, and Microsoft has now confirmed a total of nine games leaving the service soon, including Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 was a big addition to Xbox Game Pass last year, as not only did subscribers get the base Destiny 2 game, but they also got access to the existing expansions and the Beyond Light update as well. Bungie previously confirmed that the upcoming Witch Queen expansion would be skipping Xbox Game Pass, and it seems that the rest of the Destiny 2 experience is leaving the service soon.

It's been confirmed that Destiny 2 is leaving Xbox Game Pass on December 8, 2021. Anyone interested in playing Destiny 2 and its current expansions for free with their subscription have less than a month to do so. If they want to keep playing after that, they'll need to fork over the cash for the base game and its expansions, though at least they can get a 20% discount.

Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving November 2021

Destiny 2 is the biggest game leaving Xbox Game Pass soon, but there are other titles that Xbox Game Pass subscribers may want to check out before they're gone as well. This includes some games that were day one Xbox Game Pass releases, like Call of the Sea, itself one of the first-ever native Xbox Series X games released through Game Pass. Call of the Sea reviews were mostly positive and the game is fairly short, so interested Game Pass subscribers definitely have time to complete it if they so desire.

Other games leaving Xbox Game Pass this month may be less pressing, like the pair of Football Manager titles that are being removed. After all, Xbox Game Pass just added Football Manager 2022, so subscribers have an updated version to play anyway.

In the meantime, there are plenty of new games for Xbox Game Pass users to look forward to throughout November and into December. In fact, three day one Xbox Game Pass games have already been confirmed for December, so while subscribers may be sad to see some of these games go, at least they will be plenty of fresh ones sooner rather than later.
