As Destiny 2 closes in on the release of its Witch Queen expansion pack, Bungie is setting up FAQ threads and helpdesk items to inform players of bugs that have already been identified ahead of time. This means that players now know which major issues they ought to expect when the game's servers are back up, and Witch Queen is released. One major issue that may cause problems early on is the fact that Overload auto rifle and SMG mods seemingly won't disrupt the Overload champions' health regeneration. Interestingly, the Witch Queen bug-listing for Destiny 2 also seems to confirm the return and subsequent expansion of a certain old activity, giving further credence to some previous leaks.RELATED: New Destiny 2 Titles, Seals Revealed for Witch Queen and Season 16While the Witch Queen DLC promises combat against old enemies and ancient evils only hinted at in established Destiny lore, this works on a meta-level, too. Namely, with bugs, which are present whenever a major Destiny expansion pack comes out. Bungie's helpdesk Twitter account has already listed a number of key problems that the team is working to patch soon after the DLC is out, and some of them, like the Overload health regen problem, could cause progression issues.

While the full list of identified problems and bugs should be going live with the release of Witch Queen, the BungieHelp Twitter account already pointed some of them out, so that players know what to expect at weekly reset. The major issues include the aforementioned Overload health bug, framerate drops when opening the character screen on Xbox consoles, and a few perk-specific problems with the new glaive weapon class.

Players that rely on Ghost tracking mods will also find them somewhat unreliable on Witch Queen's launch, and enemies that have been affected by the Volatile debuff might not count for bounty progress in some specific cases, with area-of-effect damage mentioned as the main culprit. Not ideal for players that are looking to plunge into Destiny 2's Void 3.0 ability rework.

On another note, one of these tweets specifically mentions the so-called Psi-Ops Battlegrounds, which are likely to be the three new Battlegrounds being added to Destiny 2. Everything suggests that these are the main six-man activity coming with Season of the Risen, with the Cabal empress Caiatl and her Loyalist legions joining the Guardians in fighting against the proliferating Lucent Hive threat.

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
