How To Get Unexpected Resurgence

For the short and sweet answer, to obtain the Unexpected Resurgence Glaive, players will need to complete matches of Trials of Osiris. Luckily, the player doesn't need to win them all to acquire the weapon. Completing games will allow the player to gain Trials of Osiris reputation, which is used towards increasing their rank with Saint-14.

Upon each rank up, Saint-14 will reward the Guardian with a Trials of Osiris Engram. Decrypting the Engram will give the player a chance at earning the Glaive. It may take a few, but the player will only need to earn one, as they can then focus their Engrams for the Glaive specifically after acquiring it once.

Of course, the more experienced players can win seven matches in a row and go flawless to earn an Adept version of the Glaive. Players can continuously acquire Adept versions of the weapon by wearing a flawless Trials of Osiris Engram and winning more matches after their initial flawless run. They can also use their Trials of Osiris Engrams to directly purchase an Adept version of the Glaive from Saint-14 afterward.

When it comes to Glaives, God Rolls are pretty touch and go, as, more often than not, the weapon type as a whole isn't suitable for the meta. That said, the Unexpected Resurgence has a solid perk pool for PvE activities. The God Roll players should be looking for are Impulse Amplifier and Voltshot.

Impulse Amplifier massively increases the projectile speed and reload speed of the weapon. Meanwhile, reloading after a kill will trigger Voltshot, which will jolt enemies upon the next hit. It's a solid combo for Arc builds but doesn't replace other weapons, such as Forbearance or Path of Least Resistance.

For the Barrel, Magazine, and Masterwork, the player will want to focus on the range as it will help the projectile distance and overall usability. With that in mind, the player should aim for Ballistic Tuning for the Barrel, Accurized Rounds for the Magazine, and a range Masterwork.

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
