A seasonal challenge has been released in Destiny 2 that requires players to venture throughout the game to defeat powerful Cabal enemies. Unlike their standard counterparts, powerful Cabal foes have Orange and Yellow health bars and are much more challenging to defeat.
In total, players must defeat roughly 50 of these unique enemies to progress and complete their quest. This guide will help Destiny 2 players to find the best places and the best methods to farm these powerful enemies.
Method 1: The Quarry Lost Sector
For players trying to complete the challenge as quickly as possible, the best place to choose is The Quarry Lost Sector in the EDZ. Inside the sector are one boss and two mini-bosses.
First, players should defeat the two mini-bosses and deal roughly 50% damage to the big boss. When the big boss' HP falls below 50%, two more mini-bosses will spawn. Players can then defeat all that remains, giving roughly 10% progress toward the challenge.
If a player is fast enough, they can do all of the above in under a minute, then re-run the Lost Sector continuously until the challenge is finally completed. In total, the challenge can be completed in a little over then minutes. This is by far the most efficient way to farm powerful Cabal in Destiny 2.
Method 2: Duality Dungeon

There are a few other methods that players can use, though none are quite as efficient as the one above. The following methods can be completed on the side, essentially killing two birds with one stone. The next method would be to run the Duality Dungeon.
The previous Season in Destiny 2, known as Season of the Haunted, introduced the Duality Dungeon. Duality is an exclusive Cabal Dungeon with plenty of powerful Cabal, not to mention two bosses that can be found throughout the Dungeon.
Players can gather a fire team of two other Guardians or brave it alone and quickly complete the challenge in one run, depending on their efficiency. At the same time, they can also earn the Duality exclusive rewards, such as the Haake Armor, or Duality weapons, like the Stormchaser Linear Fusion Rifle.
Method 3: Nightmare Containment
Finally, the third method players can use to farm powerful Cabal is to play the Nightmare Containment event on the Leviathan on the Moon. This event has a mix of powerful Cabal and Scorn enemies throughout the fight.
It isn't as efficient as the previous methods, but it's far simpler to do than a complete run of the Duality Dungeon and rewards players with exclusive Haunted weapons.
Upon defeating all of the powerful Cabal required for the challenge, players must return the sixth relic of Nezarec to the Helm and the challenge will be complete.
