With each Season of Destiny 2, one or more titles are added to the game for players to obtain. During Year 5, seasonal titles were not particularly hard to obtain. Rather than being challenging like raid or dungeon titles, seasonal titles often simply require players to spend a lot of time grinding the seasonal activity and completing the main story of that Season.

While players still have to do all of these things to get the Queensguard title, Bungie has made it more difficult to get the first seasonal title this time around as opposed to previous seasons. Here is what players need to do in order to unlock the Queensguard title.

Titles are earned in Destiny 2 by completing a series of Triumphs. The amount of Triumps varies from a title to title basis, but typically the more difficult to obtain titles will require significantly more from players. There are 12 Triumphs in total that need to be completed for Queensguard, and these Triumphs are as follows.

  • Unbowed, Unbent: Complete the "We Stand Unbroken" quest line.
  • Defiant Keyholder:Use Defiant Keys to obtain bonus rewards at the end of Defiant Battlegrounds activities. Defiant Keys are obtained by completing almost every activity in the game.
  • Stand on the Table: Acquire every single upgrade for the War Table at the H.E.L.M.
  • Country Radio: Listen to all radio messages at the Farm.
  • Bend Toward Justice: Acquire Favors of Justice in Season of Defiance activities.
  • Grace Under Fire: Acquire Favors of Grace in Season of Defiance activities.
  • Zeal Appeal: Acquire Favors of Zeal in Season of Defiance activities.
  • Big Game Banisher: Defeat Champions or bosses in Defiant Battlegrounds playlist.
  • Legendary Trifecta: Complete all three Defiant Battlegrounds on Legend Difficulty.
  • Control-Alt-Complete: Complete all three quests for the Avalon activity.
  • Disable Safety Routines: Complete Avalon on Legend difficulty.
  • Scourge of Light: Defeat combatants with Season of Defiance weapons.

Of these twelve Triumphs, the two that will be the most difficult for players will be Legendary Trifecta and Disable Safety Routines. Defiant Battlegrounds on Legend Difficulty do not have matchmaking, and Avalon has no matchmaking at all. Defiant Battlegrounds can be quite challenging when played on Legend Difficulty, but a well coordinated team should have no trouble clearing it. Avalon is a difficult mission, but there are still some methods for cheesing it.

One important thing to keep in mind is that currently only one Defiant Battleground has Legendary Difficulty accessible per week. As such, it takes three weeks for players to complete the Legendary Trifecta Triumph. As Season of Defiance draws to a close, it is possible that all three will become available but Bungie has not confirmed if this is the case.

Other than that, the rest of the Triumphs for Queensguard require players to complete the main story and do no small amount of grinding to acquire all the Favors needed. As far as Scourge of Light goes, any seasonal weapon acquired from the Defiant Engram will work for this Triumph. Equip several of these weapons and this Triumph will go much faster, especially if players go to an activity like Altars of Sorrow on the Moon.

Destiny 2 is available now on Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
