Guardians in Destiny 2 have been dressing themselves up in various styles with different shaders, each making something unique to them. For many Guardians, collecting shaders is a hobby in Destiny 2, and many Guardians are looking for the Abyssinian Gold Shader.

With new pieces of gear entering Destiny 2 every season, some shaders become more desirable while others fall out of popularity. Currently, the Abyssinian Gold Shader is the new must-have shader of the season.

Guardians on the hunt for the Abyssinian Gold Shader in Destiny 2, may be disappointed to know that it is an Eververse exclusive shader. The Abyssinian Gold Shader originally came in Season of the Chosen, sporting a goldish-brown color palette with red glows for some armor. Guardians will need to wait until the shader becomes available through Eververse again if they want to get their hands on it.

Guardians can use third-party sites like TodayInDestiny, to map out when Eververse will sell the shader again in Destiny 2. Unfortunately, the current roadmap does not show the return on the Abyssinian Gold Shader during Season of the Splicer, at least not in the main Eververse inventory. TodayInDestiny does not show the Eververse Flair offerings which usually hold four random shaders.

Guardians that want the Destiny 2 Abyssinian Gold Shader will need to check in with Eververse weekly or wait for the Shader to enter Eververse’s Bright Engrams. With this news in mind, it may be quite a while before Guardians see the Abyssinian Gold Shader again.

With some shaders being hard to get, Guardians should grab any shaders they do not have from Eververse each week. Even if a shader does not look good on a Guardian's current armor set, it may become amazing on a future armor set.

At the time of this writing, the Eververse is selling the Circadian Chill Shader from Season of the Dawn. Guardians who do not have this shader should pick it up for their collections, avoiding a similar issue with the Abyssinian Gold Shader being missed by many Guardians.

Another popular shader among Destiny 2 Guardians is the Jacarina Shader. With a clean black and white color palette that allows a nice light blue accent, the Jacarina Shader has proven popular in the Destiny 2 community. According to TodayInDestiny, the Jacarina Shader will be back in Eververse the week of August 10, 2021.

There currently is no other way to gain the Abyssinian Gold Shader outside of Eververse, making it a rare shader owned by the few lucky Guardians who purchased it during Season of the Chosen.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
