How To Complete All Hands Challenge

For the short and sweet answer, to complete the All Hands challenge, each player must shoot one Light and one Dark node per damage phase. Players must also complete both sides (the final node) around the same time. Hitting the last node too early will result in failure and will force the team to restart. It sounds easy on paper, but in practice, it's actually very stressful to manage, especially on Master difficulty.

For starters, typically, the team would have one runner per side and have them shoot each node without stopping until both sides were completed. This would result in a rapid and easy damage phase without needing to gain the refuge buff that protects the player from Nezarec's wipe mechanic. However, with the requirement for ALL players to participate in the running process, the team will need to not only stun Nezarec to prevent him from shooting players off the arena, but they will now need to hit both shoulders to determine which refuge buff they need to survive his wipe mechanic. With all that in mind, it's time to determine the best strategy to complete this challenge efficiently.

First and foremost, the team should separate into smaller groups of three on each side (Light and Dark). Remember, each player must shoot a node on each side once. Therefore, the groups of three will have each of their players shoot one node at a time until all of the players have hit a node at least once (three on each side, six in total). Afterward, the groups should converge on Nezarec to destroy both his glowing shoulders to determine which refuge buff they need to survive his wipe mechanic.

Once Nezarec flies into the air and initiates his wipe mechanic, the groups should swap sides to shoot the remaining nodes. Again, each player can only shoot one Light and one Dark node, and if the challenge has been done correctly thus far, there should be three nodes remaining on each side, one for each player to shoot.

As mentioned before, the final node on each side must be shot around the same time, so the last two players who need to hit them should coordinate and count down when to fire to ensure the challenge remains intact. When all of the nodes on each side are finished, the DPS phase against Nezarec will begin. If the team doesn't one phase him, they must rinse and repeat the process to complete the challenge.

Master Difficulty Changes

For those aiming to complete the challenge on Master difficulty to earn progress towards the "Dream Warrior" seal, there are a couple of changes to be wary of. First and foremost, the Master version now features champion enemies, specifically Anti-Barrier Colossus, that spawn on each side of the arena. The team should coordinate and use proper weaponry to swiftly deal with them; otherwise, they'll be a pain later on and could eventually kill a teammate. They should be a priority to defeat when given the opportunity.

One final warning is to be wary of Nezarec himself. On Master difficulty, his Void blasts will guarantee one-shot a player unless they are running one hundred Resilience and at least two Void Resistance mods on their chest piece. There's no other way to sugarcoat it, but on Master difficulty, Nezarec truly embodies his moniker as the "Final God of Pain." Players should fully expect to be killed multiple times by him if they aren't careful.

Completing the All Hands challenge on Master difficulty will reward players with the Adept version of the Koraxis's Distress Grenade Launcher.

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
